you truly can't underestimate the strength of having great walk-ons. Even if they didn't have a ton of other options it's great as it spreads the net of finding good players, adds depth and - at worst - strengthens your starters in practice. Tons of great players slipped into being walk-ons.

For sure I think it's becoming readily apparent with the attrition on our Dline. I'd love to see as many of these kinds of pickups as possible. Clearly can never have enough of these types of hungry, athletic defensive linemen

Never, ever, underestimate the impact of a defensive lineman who knows how to throw heavy objects around. Look at Rob Renes, Mike Martin, Glasgow, and Willie Henry for proof. Welcome aboard, young man!
