Hello: Caris LeVert (officially)
According to UMHoops, we have our fifth member of the 2012 class. He was a decommit from Ohio after Coach Groce went to Illinois. He also led his high school Pickerington Central to a state championship, this past season.

Makes you wonder how often they update.
Great for depth, and any unforseen early departures. Starting to enjoy pulling these "Mr. Basketball's" out of that state.

Game wise Levert is a much better fit than the last off guard Beilein signed;' Carlton Brundidge.
The signings of Levert and Albrecht are very important for Beilein and the M hoops program. They appear to be four year guys with talent to contribute. Nice signings.

Great recovery by Beilein and Co. to be able to recover from the mass exodus of Novak and Douglass (graduation), Smot, Brundidge and Christian, (disillusioned), to keep the program on strong footing. Next year is going to be interesting.

Its a good thing we don't need him to play right away. Being able to redshirt guys in basketball sure would be nice, and not just because they are injured.

Not Mr. Basketball in Ohio, but Levert was named JJHuddle Ohio Player of the Year. That's where the confusion is coming from.
Hope Trey loan him some of his work out tapes. Some one needs to introduce this kid to some steel, some hills, and maybe meals on wheels.

Reminds me a little of THJ. I like him. Assuming that tape is legit, I don't see how this kid is a 2-star on ESPN. 3 star for sure.
Nope totally doctored. At the 0:57 mark you can actually see the ball change shape and color. And Caris' left arm shrinks 2 inches.
