Hello Brady Hoke?

Same guy that broke the story that RR fired is now saying Hoke to be named coach.

Here we go.

Edit: Additional information - Ryan Ermanni (Fox 2 Detroit) reports on ESPN 96.1 that Brady Hoke will be hired as next coach, and Harbaugh was never seriously considered.

Bo Schembechler was really a no-name coach who's resume only included HC at Miami of Ohio, and he worked out alright.

Now, I'm not crazy about Hoke either, but if the fan base continues their lack of support, it at least won't get off to a great start.  Part of the reason Rodriguez failed (rather, was never given a chance to succeed) is that the fan base had already said "no" before he even set foot in Ann Arbor.

Further, Tressel coached at FCS Youngstown State and he's working out pretty well at Ohio State, is he not?  Most BCS appearances of any school, 9-1 against Michigan, etc.

So, save the judgement for year 3, would you?

craig james and whitlock (of course) rave about hoke.

not the sexiest pick ever but i believe coaches improve just as players do. i think his previous few years are exceptional. and you have to atleast appreciate a guy who wants to be here, and not just for the $$.

There are rumors that Stanford has contacted Hoke.   I don't know if that makes him more desirable, but it may mean the back-up, back-up plan may be evaporating if DB doesn't move ahead very, very quickly!
