Hello: Andrew Copp (Hockey)
Per his Twitter, NTDP center Andrew Copp has committed to play for the Wolverines this coming fall.
After suffering a broken collarbone while playing QB for Ann Arbor Skyline, Andrew returned to the ice and posted a 1-5-6 line for the U-18 team. The late addition to the class comes with Chris Brown leaving for the NHL a year early.
Congratulations to Andrew on his commitment, and best of luck in the fall.

Is he going to play juniors anywhere first or just coming right to ann arbor?
He will play for us during the 2012-13 season.
It's pretty rare to have someone come right out of high school to play college isn't it?
The roster last year didn't have anyone (other than Hunwick) older than 22. It's a different story for schools like MSU, though. Their entire roster will be picking up Social Security checks by next offseason.
Sometimes guys will play in the USHL for a few seasons before they get a scholarship, but not here. The competition level that they play at readies these kids for NCAA level talent right away. Copp will join the 2012 class as the 4th NTDP player to commit, with Carrick, Trouba, and Rutledge.
Every commit in this class will be straight out of high school, except for Steven Racine.
I'll take four, please. And please add onto that order six LT sized defensemen and eight TE sized wingers. Can Shaq play in net?
If everyone could skate, that team would never lose.
awesome, twins?!
Horray. I promise to not hold it against him that his last name sounds like a portmanteau of Conboy-Tropp
