My prediction is that I'll be glad I have an excuse not to see what's happening over on ESPN2. At least for the first half, anyway.....

Woodson sealed that award with an unbelievable performance against OSU. If jabrill had a game saving pick, return TD, and several big plays on offense, and mich won the game, he would win running away. Unfortunately that didn't happen. Although I DO think he is the best player, I don't think he brings home the hardware. Here's to hoping I'm wrong. Cheers and Go Blue!

Say Peppers is the best player. He isnt even the best player on his own team. Lewis is the best at his position. Peppers is good, but if he wants to win a heisman he will need far better stats at his position. The stats matter, and he doesnt have them.

Below is a link to Jabrill's Heisman website produced by UM Football. He is a special player. All I can say is not one guy on that stage tonight could do what he did this season at the same level as Jabrill. Would love to see him get voted at least #2 in recognition that he is an all around great football player, not just the best at a single position. https://www.hei5man.club

I don't know -- might be easier for the media and voters to focus on just one set of stats (TDs, yards) but if it were a basketball award, Peppers would be playing all five spots on the floor and never on the bench. He's so well-rounded and talented, it would have hurt the team (presumably based on Harbaughs use) to limit him.

1. Jackson 2. Peppers 3. Watson 4. Mayfield 5. Westbrook Mayfield and Westbrook split the West vote, Jackson and Watson split the East vote and Peppers gets a lot of 2nd and 3rd place votes from around the country

would get some votes... I don't know his stats but during our game they kept saying that he was the only player in the country with more than 700 rushing and 800 receiving yards. I think he returned punts and took wildcat snaps too. That versatility is what made me believe that both he and Jabrill would get invited... It's funny that #4 didn't get to go though - Fuck those guys.

The Hypeman sucks. Baker Mayfield is the token white guy this year and the best player in the sport won't win it. It will go to the 3-loss QB whose been 'favored' all season. I won't bother watching any of it and partly becuse watching Desmond accept it on the TV in the Thronson Lounge in SQ will never be topped. Go Blue!
