If (when) RGIII wins this will help pave the way for Denard. He can look at RGs year and know exactly what he needs to accomplish next year to be in consideration.

Gotta be RGIII. He and Art Briles have made Baylor relevant. Which is huge and for all the talk of Stanford being no where near as good with Luck its true also with Griffin. He's almost like Denard with a better arm. Not as fast or as good. All faith be in Denard.

I want RG3 to win.

I was upset that Luck decided to shave his neck neard.  If he kept the neck beard for the Heisman ceremony then maybe Luck, but he lost points once he shaved that neck beard.

I don't see how this can go to anyone other than RG3 after his ridiculous season.

Statistically, he's been dominant. He's 3rd in the NCAA in completion percentage with 72.36, behind only Brandon Wheedon (72.61) and Kellen Moore (74.07)

He's 3rd in TD passes with 36, behind only Moore (41) and Case Keenum (45).

He leads the NCAA in yards-per-attempt (10.83) and yards-per-completion (14.97).

He has the second fewest interceptions (6) of all qualifying quarterbacks behind Keenum and Bryant Moniz of Hawaii (5 each).

Tack on to all that an additional 9 rushing touchdowns coming at 4.0 yards per rush (without removing any sacks).

Notice Andrew Luck does not appear anywhere near this list.

Outside of statistics, he's led Baylor to what is without a doubt their single greatest season ever, beating both Oklahoma and Texas, and doing it as really the only offensive weapon on his team. And remember, this is Baylor. BAYLOR! They were 0-20 all time against Oklahoma going into this season.

And for a Hiesman moment (some people hate that this is a factor, but I like to see a guy put his team on his back and basically win a game single-handedly), watch the end of the Oklahoma game. With less than a minute remaining and no timeouts, he accounted for 76 yards of an 80 yard drive, including 2 scrambles for 30 total yards.

On the final touchdown pass, he escapes pressure rolling to his left, stands tall in the face of a DT charging straight at him, and fires a strike 40 yards downfield into double coverage in the back of the endzone to win the game. Ridiculous.

Ball's had a great season too, and so has Honey Badger, but it's got to be RG3.

.......wins the Heisman as long as it isn't Richardson. All of the other Heisman finalists had "Heisman" worthy moments at one point, or multiple points, throughout the season. Even Luck had his back-and-forth battle with USC, including 3 OT periods, and leading a game-tying TD drive right after throwing a pick-6.

Ball? He just scored TD's all season long, including 6TD's on 20 receptions. He averaged 3 TD's per game for his team.

Mathieu's "moments" were out there for every big game LSU played in, and from the very start of the season to their last game. Forced fumbles, fumble recoveries for scores, punt return TD's, big-time tackles at important moments during their games.

RGIII's moments have already been well-documented here and elsewhere. Out of all the contenders, he has probably had the most consistent season thus far and ranks at or near the top of all QB categories.

Richardson? While his stats may beat Ingram's the year he won the Heisman, he isn't even the best RB this year, and that includes rushing and all-around RB stats.

If I had a choice, it'd be RGIII, followed by Ball and then possibly Mathieu.
