The Heisman is making it's tour around the Country, and stopping in Ann Arbor today and tomorrow. If you want to swing by and see it (for those who go for that sort of thing), it's supposed to be at the Ann Arbor Nissan dealer off of Jackson from 11-6 today (Nissan is the Heisman sponsor) and tomorrow 10-12. At 12 it goes to the on Main and Stadium at WTKA's event (the Bud Light Victors Lounge, I believe, which is by invitation only, but maybe they have it somewhere public). And during the game it will be in the blue lot behind Crisler. It looks like via their website (which doesn't actually have it coming to Ann Arbor this weekend, so who knows what's right on there), pictures are allowed.
Heisman in Ann Arbor Today - not for Denard.....yet
Judas, this weekend is shaping up to be a cluster. Heisman in AA, battle of unbeatens, rivals, shit...I'm nervous already.
dont forget dee..
If you are reading this, we NEED you to get a picture of yourself with the Heisman, preferably one in which you are either excitedly standing in the background cheering or doing the Pose.
That would quite possibly be the best picture ever taken if that were to happen. Of course, just behind Denard holding the Heisman at the Heisman ceremony.
But, if Denard does win the Heisman, we all know who would be sitting right behind him in the audiance, patting Denard on the shoulder and cheering: Lloyd.
michgoblue, you are busting me up. Thank goodness I am the only one at work again today because I am practically crying over here. That would be the greatest thing ever to see Lloyd at the ceremony cheering and patting him on the shoulder.
We all know the internet will make it so.
Someone needs to come to the rescue and photoshop Lloyd Brady with an MSU theme.
Don't even bother packing it up for the rest of the tour.
Tomorrow will probably be the closest Sparty ever gets to it.
to make sure Denard's trophy case is strong enough to hold it when it comes back to Ann Arbor to stay at the end of the season?
Webb's bit on Sparty Boss being in the building with the Heisman as being the closest Sparty has ever been to it, followed by the comments about MSU never winning a Heisman that he interspersed throughout the rest of the show was some of the funniest radio I have heard in a long time.
Sam definitely takes delight in jabbing the needle into Sparty, especially during Sparty week.
