Heart Attack Victim At UTL Recovering, Thanks UM Fan
Notre Dame fan suffered heart attack and received CPR immediately by a Michigan dental grad. The fan spent some time recovering but I believe has been discharged per the Channel 4 report airing currently. Thought it worth noting as it had been raised previously and is a great story from the night.

Only one ND fan had a heart attack?

Wonder what would've happened if ND won...

I didn't even hear about the guy having a heart attack, but it's great news hearing the guy is ok. Stay healthy out there, whoever you are, sir.

If a Michigan fan had a heart attack in EL or Columbus, would one of their fans do CPR? One of the coolest things about maybe 60 percent of the MIchigan fanbase is that they know it is just a game, have a sense of honor, and know when to separate real life from fandom.

I think almost any person in any fan base would seperate fandom from real life in an emergency.

but whether or not a fan in EL or Cbus knows how to administer CPR is a different story.

Yup, there's a big differene between a dental grad and someone majoring in golf course management or fashion design.

you tell the coolest stories bro.

Compassion and caring is something that depends on how one is raised, not where they went to college. His post is just plain bizarre.

Whether it's true or not, I don't know, but on WTKA's Michigan Insider they said the guy was being pretty obnoxious leading up to the incident.

I was 2 seats in front of him. He and his sons were being fine. We had a few ND fans around us, and at the time this happened, they had reason to be talking trash, but nobody was. In the same respect, no Michigan fans in my section heckled these ND when we pulled off the victory.
There was a great show of sportsmanship during such an event. Living in Columbus, I've been witness to 'Ohio' v Texas night games. Stark differences.

Wasn't sure if true. Thanks for clearing it up.

I wonder if this will get posted at the RCMB?

Odds that if a UM fan had a heart attack at the Shoe, OSU fans would do the total opposite?
