Is Devin calling in on the Hungry Howies' Huge Network At&T Quest line, or will he be dialing Bob's Bait and Tackle/Cialis/MSU Credit Union Toll Free number?

It's currently the second podcast on the page.
Huge's AC DC intro is so bad that it makes anything by pop evil seem like Mozart.
Pretty much every second of Huge's show is terrible.
Michigan (the state) is in need of some higher quality sports talk radio. Not a ton of good options.
Especially West Michigan. We are stuck either listening to Huge, who is a total blow hard but has decent guests, or to Sean Beligian (I'm sure this is spelled wrong and I know I could easily look it up, but I don't care) who just argues with ignorant fans (who do not call in or even exist). I do hate local sports radio. Not good times.
Baligian is the single worst sports radio person I've ever heard, except possibly Mad Dog DeMarco.
Yes, worse than Huge.
for that which we all speak to verbalize from our mouths about our particular pro-grums..." -is a sentence that diarrhea mouth Sean has certainly uttered a thousand times.
The funniest thing about his show is 90% of the callers are the same. The hyper kid that is obsessed with Lidstrom and the butchy chick, Emily.
Well Doc is alright but Bentley is a nut. Can be entertaining at times, but Bentley is usually too busy yapping about the age doctors half of the time, and he once stated that Drake Harris would be a better fit at Michigan State because Dantonio has won 4 of 5.
I personally enjoy the "subs" for Huge and Sean.
The Skip on It is What it Is is pretty hilarious, though
Muller
Anyone know a feed we could listen to it or just give the details from it?
I am amazed that Huge is still on.
listening to the Huge show, and the entire 12 minute ride, I heard probably 10 seconds of actual content. The rest was pure promotions, ads, and other endorsements. The only reason I kept the radio on that station was out of curiosity to see how long the endless chain of promotions would last. It still pisses me off that WTKA replaced their afternoon show with this blowhard idiot.
C'mon, man. Defran was WAY worse.
You don't miss the Beatnick's on Thursdays and NASCAR Tuesday? Don't worry, this too shall pass, I am sure there is something on the horizon at WTKA in A2, anyway. This fall may see something super-cool there during afternoon drive...
Your wording suggests you know something (?).
And yes, the beatniks was the most painful (weekly) hour of radio ever. His unofficial catchphrase was icing on the cake. "All very good points!"
I do know "something," if it happens in the fall, it will be awesome re WTKA. it will blow your mind. If, by the second week in September, it does not happen, I will find a way to let yall know.
The rest was pure promotions, ads, and other endorsements.
This describes 99% of all talk radio. It's pretty awful.
Will be in college football live right now discussing something about the SEC. No clue if it's new or old.
30 second bit saying SEC isn't as big as it thinks and the big ten isn't far behind.
ok, it's over. what did he say?
Well, he apparently guaranteed victory over OSU...
One of the things I do not regret about leaving Michigan was missing the disintegration of the sports-talk landscape. When I left, Stony & Wojo and Dennis Fithian (ably supplemented by Mike Wickett) were solid options.
I have now been spoiled by quality options in both LA and Minnesota, and have no desire to listen in Detroit. My brief experiences with Huge have been unpleasant, and I gather he is not an acquired taste.
Mike Wickett is now on one of the sports talk stations here in Wisconsin. He vacillates in between being half humorous and half ignorant tool.
Mike Francesa has spoiled me here in NY. I fully agree with your sentiment... Though for whatever reason detroit tv evening newscasts are superior by a mile.
The last QB to guarantee victory over ohio was Jim Harbaugh.
Won 26-24 and won the Big Ten Championship, going to the Rose Bowl.
When he was in Chicago, not only did he get ass beat by some Southside thugs after leaving a sox game. But he show was so bad at espn that he was dumped and replaced by a great show in 2002 by Mac, jurko, and Harry which was very good in Chicago on espn 1000. Danny Mac was great because he was a Michigan fan on the radio in Chicago. I'm glad I moved from GR for work and more to do, but miss Detroit and m talk
