Have we ever beaten three divisional winners in the same year?

Submitted by Human Torpedo on

After Colorado won last night, I realized we beat THREE teams (Wisconsin and Penn State the others) that will playing for a championship next week. I highly doubt we've ever done that before. It was all done in successive fashion no less. That's gotta be historically significant

can't start a new thread on mobile and didnt see this posted elsewhere. 11Warriors and all their sycophantic fans are calling out Peppers for "punching" a fan as they rushed the field. Push - not punch. Lol If it were me, and you got in my face talking trash? Goodnight sleepy time for you. http://www.espn.com/video/clip?id=18143625 http://ohiostate.247sports.com/Bolt/Watch-Jabrill-Peppers-appears-to-sh…

Divisions are still fairly new to the Big 10 and PAC-12, and we rarely play SEC or ACC (as of late) in the non-conference schedule, so I am assuming we have never beaten three division winners before.

Yeah, I'm sure this is the first time.

The SEC introduced a championship game in 1992, and other than Vanderbilt, I don't think we've played them in the regular season since then (though we have in bowls, obviously).

The Big 12 was next, in 1996, only to lose the title game when it dropped down to 10 members in 2011.  We've only played their teams a handful of times.

The ACC launched its game in 2005.   VT in the Sugar Bowl is pretty much the only time I can recall us playing one of their teams.

The Pac-12 and B1G title games were both launched in 2011.

Belligerent idiots deserve to be dealt with accordingly. Remember the fool that got body slammed by one of their own coaches? Will those idiot ohio fans ever learn? Edit: In response to the ohio fan going at Peppers.

I watched the Peppers clip. That guy was challenging Peppers. He got shoved like he should have been, and was not punched. The osu guy was coming to give peppers props, but he should have ran to the refs and given them props for not calling shit on osu.
