Have they been practicing everyday since Monday?
So, have they practiced everyday since Monday? No, I don't know the practice schedule. However, I have looked for any information on how the first few days have gone and there isn't much info out there. But, there is plenty of info on other teams in the conference readily available in cyberspace...
Is there any particular place to go to receive practice notes?

...has something to do with it, I imagine. Media's not allowed to watch practice.

All we get are 10-15 seconds worth of 3-4 second clips between interviews on MGoBlue. It's a complete tease.

Wait all summer for some activities to actually take place and then we are left in the dark about everything...
GO FIGURE!

last year some idiot wrote an article detailing the trick plays he saw Michigan working on, so RR decided to close practice to the media.

if i remember correctly, the trick plays were detailed by a student manager to a roommate who then went on the internet and spoke about them - that was also before the OSU game. considering these are walk-throughs and without pads (for most of the week), this would be more related to the negative spin being produced and less along strategy lines

I think he was talking about the pitch play that i think debuted vs iowa. Not the denard playing receiver play.

On Monday Big Will pulled off Taylor Llewellyn's arm and ate it. Barwis gave Big Will the Heimlich and team Doctor's sewed the appendage back on and Taylor made it back on the field by afternoon practice.
So the team is definitley hungry.

I am hoarding my mgopoints for football season, when I plan on being really provocative and controversial. Good one, though.

Is he related to Tristin?
August 12th, 2010 at 5:33 PM ^
Yes because in today's countdown to kickoff, it shows the players with shoulder pads on, which were not allowed at the start of practices
August 12th, 2010 at 5:45 PM ^
The only highlights of practice I've seen is the little clips they show on the 30 day countdown. Since it's closed to the media I guess that's all we are going to see until September 4th. God these 23 days need to go by fast.

They're not hiding our anything.. just keeping the machine behind the curtain until it's ready to be unleashed.

Does anyone know RR's press conference schedule? I thought it would be every-other-day but that hasn't been the case. I know GERG did one yesterday but I was wondering when RR's next one is.
August 12th, 2010 at 8:04 PM ^
I can't remember where I saw it, but I think I recall that press conferences will be held every Monday and Thursday. I would suspect that there won't be one today since RR is heading to Washington to prove that he's a stand-up fella to the NCAA infractions committee.

The current plan is to have Rodriguez pressers on Mondays and Thursdays (with players on some Thursdays) and Coordinators or assistants on Wednesdays.

I only opened this thread in hopes of seeing the Rosenberg animation.

Opening practrice to media let out some trick plays? Not to mention, making players available to the media produced a certain piece in the FREEP that I could have lived without. I don't remember all the details, but it had something to do with current and former players.
August 12th, 2010 at 8:53 PM ^
The quotes from the Freep story came from media day... which they're still having this year (just like every single program has every year).
They aren't hiding the players from the media, either, though I imagine it will be a little while before Woolfolk is allowed to talke to the press again.

We talking about practrice. Practrice, not the grames...not the grames. Practrice.
Oh J. Leman. I can't stay mad at you. I'm sorry baby. Here, here are some flowers.

And we're not even talking about practice. We're talking about practrice.
