They're well coached, they play physical defense that goes after the ball play after play after play, they have good special teams, play annoyingly consistent field position mindgames, and execute when they need to. These days, we pretty much don't do any of these things. And that's scary.

Hats off to MSU-Congrats
If you changed uniforms and inserted a better QB in, it would look like a lot of UM teams of the 80s til late 90s. Talk about role reversal. You can see it even in the small details - their punter pinned us inside the 10-15 over and over, our sshanked multiple punts or "boomed" 37 yarders. Amazing a program of this nature cannot find elite kickers. Gibbons almost missed his easy kick as well.
There is not a single position group other than QB and maybe WR UM has an advantage on MSU right now. And that includes coaches. Sad.
Biggest "fear" here is MSU could be on the cusp of building a Wisconsin in house. Not a top 5 team nationally but one that is top 10-15 year in and year out and doesnt need high end recruit to do it. They get classes in the 30s like Wisconsin and find a lot of gems and coach them up into a system and just win baby. Assuming a loss to OSU in the Big 10 championship, this will be the 3rd year in 4 of double digit wins. Been a long time for us to say that.
They will take a hit when Narduzzi leaves, it is unfortunate though that we will probably never get "revenge" against his defense...
I would not automatically assume a loss to OSU for MSU. That will be a very interesting matchup.
Basketball season starts soon enogh. We have basketball coaches.
but I still fucking hate that program.
Congrats
Is what I wish Michigan was. Never thought I'd say that.
I don't even want to think about it but at the end there I almost felt...envy.
cheaper parking (way cheaper), and a better football team. Go figure.
Really?
F'ck off!!!
F'ck sparty.
Gross. You make me sick. Go back to E. Lansing you troll. You are a fake Wolverine my friend.
Yeah, we try to do our best not to verbally abuse fellow MGoBloggers in this manner. We don't always see it in the mod world and rely a little on reporting, but since you asked, Bolivia for a year.
and you curse him out.
Yeah, that's wrong.
He went to Grand Valley. It's not his fault.
It's not his fault...
I actually went to both schools. Both are fantastic schools. I am extremely blessed to have degrees from them. Have you ever even been near GVSU's campus? Wow. That was an ignorant statement.
I grew up around there and many friends and family members have degrees from there. Allendale is lovely.. The cornfields and all.
My op was a joke. You need to take it easy. :))))))
...needs to keep his 'classy' comments to himself after a painful loss. Too soon for 'I tip my cap to you good sir'. What is this, chess?! Good lord our football fathers are rolling over in their graves. My point was: This thread should not even have been started. I'm all for classy and high ground. But it's like telling a 9/11 joke on 9/12. Too soon, way too soon...
Damned troll
Lol. I think a sparty on this site would be considered a damned troll. Change your avator. Bo is rolling over in his grave at games like this today and I bet you think it's just fine and dandy. Calling a passionate fan a troll. Jeebus man.
Have to agree with the OP. Michigan was beat by a superior opponent today, and it wasn't anywhere near close. Have to respect what is being done over in East Lansing. They certainly talk a lot right now, but I think they are doing a fine job of backing that up on the field. Respect for opponents seems to be something that exists less and less in today's sports, of all levels and ages.
Change your name OP. Bo wouldn't have this.
I see nothing wrong with admitting the obvious. MSU badly outplayed and outcoached Michigan. The result speaks to that.
Especially vs. sparty. Our in-state rivalry. Oh wait, we rarely, rarely had to worry about that with him.
Mark it.
That is for the players to show good sportsmanship. As a fan, I just try to move on to the next game. Am I a sore loser, dang skippy, and will be one until I die probably...
A bitter pill is being swallowed and we will just leave it there. It is bad enough living in Ohio and watching them gloat...the only consolation is that either we have a chance or maybe Sparty's D will be enough to shut those jokers up...
Credit where credit is due--that's a damn good team.
Great win sure, but wtf this is a michigan board. Michigan till I die.
What else can you say? There was no doubt about it today. They kicked our asses.
Fuck Staee now and forever but fire Funk.
Also thanks in advance my "little brother"(or now should i say big brother) for now having to put up with your crap for another FULL LONG YEAR. I can't wait!
.
I completely agree. I personally find it embarassing to lose to State - but frankly they were the better team today. Their D was outstanding. Unfortunately, I will be repeating this same mantra to all my Sparty friends at work. :(
Out here in New Mexico my consolation was that we won't have to deal with Sparty boss, Sparty sister-in-law or Sparty whoever for a whole damned year. Gonna be rough on the troops back home, but we'll be back. Beat 'em in E Lansing next year (because yes, we'll have to play them there again!)
Sparty boss? Never heard of it.
There's a sparty guy who sends his kids to my kid's daycare. But other than him, I haven't met a single sparty fan out here in 7 years.
Oh I can hardly wait until Monday. What makes it worse is how bad we looked! It was OBVIOUS they were the better team and that is a bitter pill to swallow.
that it doesn't happen overnight, right?
When we are loaded with upperclassmen on both sides of the ball, and we only start underclassmen b/c they are too good to keep off the field (rather than out of need), and we are still getting handled, THEN we can talk about how bad the staff is.
Too many are evaluating them on their ability to change the laws of time, space, and physics. Recruits might end up bailing b/c they don't want to play for this unreasonable, entitled fan base.
with three new starters, all on the interior of the OL, all underclassmen. Something else they have in common: they are starting due to need, not b/c they beat out experienced uppderclassmen for the job. And, of course, nearly all the OL depth behind them are frosh and RS frosh.
RRod's recruiting fail for that position group was not only catostrophic, it was also a time bomb. When a coach whiffs on 2 or 3 consecutive classes of OL, it wouldn't show up on the field right away since OL rarely see the field until their 3rd year at the soonest. You would start to feel the pain of it when all the OL that he should have brought in would have been upperclassmen. For us, that time is now.
Can you name a coaching staff anywhere that has inherited this kind of situation and "coached 'em up" so that they could beat the other guy's varsity with their JV?
You can't just say "but their tackles are great, the line should be more solid." You could put a pair of veteran pro bowl NFL tackles out there, they would still only be able to block their own assignments.
What this blog really needs is a diary entry from a knowledgeable person on the normal development of college OL. How long does it usually take? What are the implications of having multiple underclassmen OL starters? Has anyone out there succeeded although starting mostly underclassmen on the OL? Etc. Maybe this would right-size our expectations before we start saying that this staff is a disaster and should be fired.
Don't waste your finger energy. The blog has devolved into a strong mob that is beyond rescue. I'm starting to accept this.
This is the truth. The lack of voting / ability to self police has turned mgoblog into mlive 2.0 or worse. The comments are virtually unreadable now. We desperately need a reddit-style voting system to filter out the garbage and restore some sanity to the board.
Be careful what you ask for. You might well be confused about who will do the filtering and who will be filtered.
Very good point. That could give the inmates complete control over the asylum
that the Sparty D was phenomenal in 2011 when it was mostly sophomores (this year's seniors)? Dantonio's staff takes lesser players and develops them faster and better. To quote Bum Phillips' famous line about Don Shula,
"He can take his'n, beat your'n, or take your'n, beat his'n."
How in the hell did you get -99000 points?
I asked for them.
Let's see who starts jumping from this sinking ship. I hope nobody. But were bound to have major recruiting losses at the end of this season.
Examples please.
I'm sick and tired of recruiting championships. I want to see Big Ten Championships. nothing but promises and lip service from Hoke and Co for 3 years and we get manhandled by a bunch of 3 stars who show heart, discipline, and speed all over the damned field. They are simply a better coached team at every level. That's extremely dispiriting.
They have young guys on their lines too....but they play well. and they aren't five stars like Kalis - who looks like he's still in high school out there. We have serious problems and it starts with the coaches.
Save the template of this post for probably 2 or 3 more of our games too. Just replace MSU with Nebraska or OSU etc. We'll need it after those games too.
I've not lost sight of the fact they are a dirty team and their coach is an ass.
I've not lost sight of the fact that it was Taylor "Tyler" Lewan out there twisting face masks today. I'd like to hear him apologize in the presser and I would not be opposed to sitting him for a quarter in the Nebraska game.
For him to make his bullying comments earlier this week and then pull that crap...taking a quarter off would be appropriate.
It wasn't too many years ago that the Big Ten office would review plays like those and suspend players from the next game.
and he had the audacity to say THIS after the game?!?!
@chengelis Taylor Lewan when asked how tough is Shilique Calhoun: "He's not. They only put him on me a couple times... didn't really have a problem"
-48 yards rushing and Devin couldn't stand up by the end of the game and you didn't really have a problem?!?!? WTF? Take some responsibility. Admit you got your ass kicked. Be a MAN. And Calhoun is the perfect representative for all that is wrong here. They lose Gholston, who is supposed to be the best guy on D, and the replacement is some no name who is BETTER. That's frightening to me. We sure as hell haven't been able to do that in a long long time.
Lewan was Lewan all game long, in spite of his shennanigans. It only takes one unblocked guy on the line to blow up a play. I'm sure the UFR will vindicate Lewan, he was solid all day. The rush came from up the middle.
I was disgusted to see him stoop to that level. All Michigan players should be above that, but especially their captains.
They played better and more disciplined football. They do have an extremely good defense, and if their offense were this far along earlier in the season, they'd be undefeated right now.
This is a Michigan Blog fergodsakes!!!!
If they get to the Championship game, bet your ass I'll be cheering for them to win!
Why? Most of them root for Ohio against us.
No good guys to root for, but it might be in our interests for one of them to win as opposed to the other.
If we are not able to tag OSU with their 1st loss, I will be rooting for MSU that game.
If we are able to beat OSU, I will probably root for them vs MSU and hope for MSU to get shut out of the BCS one last delicious time
They wouldn't cheer for us they'd just say, meteorite !!! Sometimes I wish I hadn't invented that back in 2008 but it's still pretty relevant so whatever. Yeah, I'm the first guy that said " I'm routing for a meteorite to fake out the entire stadium ," when two rivals were playing.
UM will actually have to make it to a Big Ten Championship game before we'll ever know the answer.
so they can go to their 5th Rose Bowl game in their history, and the first since 1988.
Go Blue!
Congrats to Alabama and the Indianapolis colts for beating the 49ers, Seahawks and broncos so far this year. Congrats to the Boston Red Sox and also congrats to the time for having the sense to change later tonight so that it's not dark as fuck for four hours after I wake up for work.
This made a lot of sense.
Tipping the hat is the right thing to do.
I've texted my Sparty friends the same. They earned it.
They were the far superior team today. Very impressed with the defense. Connor Cook showed he can play as well. Dantonio and Narduzzi are the real deal. Go to Indy, beat OSU and win your BCS bowl Sparty.
Might as well fold to MSU on this blog, that's what the rest of the program did today
Fuck Hats too...(but concur with OP's point)
It's how you handle losing where we see the measure of a person's class. This certainly was not an acceptable result or performance, but that does not mean you don't extend the hand in a respectful acknowledgement of the other team's performance.
Congrats to MSU. They were the far superior team today. Now learn from this Michigan. Get better as a team.
State looked like a tire fire on offense at the beginning of the year, while we looked unstoppable. 10 weeks later, the roles have completely reversed. That's coaching. State is doing it better than we are.
F***!
Wag of the finger.
Here's to starting the game plan now for next year. This series has turned into a rivalry game that needs attention. Good for MSU in putting the ball in our court and taking control of the series. The time to restore historical order is upon us.
I'm very interested in what Hoke does in this coming year. Many things are not working. But for now MSU is the better team.
in 2010, 2011, 2012, or two weeks ago?
Yes, congrats to MSU. That Rose Bowl drought may end. Who's graduating from that defense again?
I actually looked that up during the game
The starters I know for sure were denard and burlugh or whatever.
They will be as good or just a tad worse next year I believe.
This defense isn't going to be as good next year.
They lose half of their defense and most of their best players. They'll still field a good defense, but it won't be as dominant--particularly in the back 7.
MSU loses:
DT Tyler Hoover
DT Micajeh Reynolds
Losses, definitely, but they rotate 4-5+ DT's as it is, and have Kittredge, who arguably would have been their best DT, barely playing b/c he missed some games early.
MIKE Max Bullough
SAM Denicos Allen
These will probably be the biggest losses. Bullough is especially a stud and will be tough to replace.
SS Isaiah Lewis
BC Darqueze Dennard
Lewis will be replaced by the better of RJ Williamson, who filled in quite well for Drummond last year, and Demetrious Cox, the 4* out of PA that has been talked about heavily.
Dennard will be trickier to replace, but it's hard to doubt Dantonio replacing CB's. One of Darian Hicks, Jermaine Edmondson, or Ezra Robinson will replace the FC spot when Waynes moves to BC.
MSU does lose talent after this year, but have replaced many great players on D, and seems capable to.
The issues arise on offense, where MSU has to replace 3 starters on the OL, and Bennie Fowler, who was excellent today. Treadwell leaves at LG, France at RG, and Fonoti at RT. Travis Jackson and Jack Allen will probably split up C and one of the G positions, as they both play heavily at C and have both subbed in at G. The biggest question marks will be the other G spot and RT. Will be interesting to see if Jack Conklin (RS-FR starting at LT) was a fluke, or if the staff really can identify and develop talent like that. Also, a developed Cook could be really good. Will be interesting to see.
The biggest losses on D will be at the LB level. Max is a super computer as a MLB and if Denicos Allen was 6'2 rather than 5'11 (and probably shorter in reality) he'd be a 1st round draft pick. He will still probably be an undersized 3rd rounder with a great motor. DTs are DTs - they dont have dominant players there, Calhoun is the main guy on the end. Dennard I think is a bit overrated as a CB although he played well today, he PI's a lot. And I wouldnt worry about replacing corners. MSU's other corner who I think is better than Dennard is a 2 star, 2011 player. We counter with two 4 stars with Blake and Taylor and that kid is just as good. They know how to identify athletes on defense and they COACH THEM UP. It will take a step back but for anyone thinking its a rollover team or game next year they are deluding themselves. People said the same thing when Cousins left... MSU is not going anywhere. They have a coaching staff that can develop players = period.
On offense I do think the OL losses will hurt as OL is the one place they seem to not do well at finding talent but they did bring in a new coach from OSU who has focused on OL and is paying dividends.
With a couple added points of clarity.
OL is definitely the issue on offense, as far as identifying talent, but they were able to identify a kid very late in the cycle who has paid huge dividends for them; RS-FR Jack Conklin (walk-on or grey-shirt). This could mean that they've been identifying the talent, they just haven't been able to coach it, which brings me to the second point...
Bollman is technically the TE coach/co-OC. He isn't technically the OL coach. That having been said, I'm guessing he's teaching Staten/Warner/Dantonio a thing or two about how to coach an OL. If he is, they could be learning these things for the long haul, ultimately having a better OL coaching staff as a result. If that's the case: lookout. That would be trouble if they can consistently put together a solid to above-average line. If they ever get premier recruits on the OL and put together a dominant OL, well, then they could be destined for something.
That defense of theirs would give the '97 Wolverines D a run for its money. Pure evil.
Who have they dominated that is any good? Certainly not us. I'll be very interested in the B1G Championship game when they are matched up with OSU.
It is a good defense, but they have not had to play many good teams. Remember what the '97 Michigan team did to a very good PSU team? Let's see what MSU does against OSU this year.
Do yourself a favor and wait until the end of the season before making statements like this.
The "little sister" chant from the crowd was quite appropriate.
I am really starting to regret that Mike Hart comment...
When Hart said, he was justified in doing so. When we as a fanbase ran with it even though Hart and the scores of Wolverines who have dominated Sparty were gone, that was a mistake.
Hart earned it, no one else since has. Toussaint repeating it was a fucking joke. We need someone to come do their job and then talk about it.
The fact that it still chafes them so badly and they continue to dwell on it even when they have the better team is what makes it so appropriate. Their massive inferiority complex is a large part of what drives them, even at times when they are not inferior. It is what it is, and that comment, although ill-timed is not what turned the tide in the rivalry. Poor recruiting and huge and repeated changes in offensive and defensive coaching and schemes had a lot more to do with it.
With Notre Dame taking a sabbatical after next year, this becomes our second biggest game and at this rate we'll have worthy adversary. Great defense and well coached. If this team gets an offense they'll be outright scary. Until next year.
MSU is going to take a step back next year. That's why they have placed so much emphasis on this year. They lose a ton of experience and talent.
MSU doesn't have much talent on offense and it isn't improving. They don't have any stud WR's or RBs. They have Terry, but who knows how good he is. This is where their mediocre recruiting is going to start to hurt.
That's not really true. Langford looks pretty damned good to me - he's fast and strong. Burbridge is the real deal. That Kings kid is good. The Shelton kid is a true frosh I think. They are VERY young on offense so guys will emerge. They lost a TON the last two years and are starting to recover. Was it Fred Smith that went to them? He would be a senior this year I think. I don't think a single WR other than Fowler is above RS Soph - same for their Tight Ends and RBs. Coupled with the improvement Cook has shown since looking like a dumpster fire the first few weeks and I have no reason to believe they'll do anything but improve on O.
D is another story, but we've been saying they'll take a step back there for 3 years now too. They just keep finding new guys to plug in. Bullough did for Jones - that Ed Davis kid got to Devin a few times today and looks to be very good. And don't they have like 2 or 3 other Bullough kids there or on the way? I seem to remember Max saying his little brother was the best of them all. That's kind of scary to imagine. That kid is going to play on Sundays.
Don't know that I could bring myself to tip my hat, but today I feel like we were simply beaten by a better team, a sentiment I didn't feel after the PSU game.
I'm not going to lie, I came here expecting to see the worst of our fanbase, but was pleasantly surprised to see that we tipped our cap and took the loss like men. It sucks, but this is what we are right now. A good but not great team in any phase of the game, that lost to a team that absolutely dominates on defense. I think the thing that worries me most is not how bad the coaching was - particularly after a bye week - but rather how complacent our fan base is now. We just accept defeat and move on. We're becoming a fan base full of handshakes and politeness. No one fears us. We're just that nice guy on the block whose wife is getting screwed by every fourth neighbor but we're too proud to admit it. At this point, the best we can say is that at least we're not Purdue. But way to be classy!
Complacent?? Where have you been?? This board has been on fire with panic and vitriol for the coaches and concerns in WINS and the other loss. Difference is those were against inferior teams and today we lost to a far better one.
What can we really do though? This is who we are right now unfortunately and we need to (again unfortunately) be patient for the talent to come in, mature, and get coached up.
Oh, I just assumed those were all the Walmart fans who assume we'll win the National Championship every year. The normal fans seem pretty complacent at this point.
What the hell is anyone supposed to do about it on the internet? We have no say in coaching hires, play calling, or anything else.
I consider myself a generally reasonable person with an irrational attachment to UM football, but seriously, what can I, or anyone on here, do? I decided today that if Borges and funk are back next year I'm not renewing my season tickets. Does it make a difference? Not really, but it's all I can do.
I didn't realize people feared fanbases.
You're right, I'm going to go demand . . . something . . .
Also, I'd hate to live in your neighborhood.
Congrats, Sparty. I'm sure it makes it that much sweeter when I say that your team plays with the style that I hoped ours would have adopted by now.
Enjoy it!
But you can't keep Paul B. and Ann A. apart for long: they're DESTINED to be together! :)
Fuck MSU. No congratulations from me!
No congrats to MSU will be had from me. Their congrats is that notch they just got to add to their win column.
Congrats, whooped our butts in every facet of the game. Michigan at this point is all talk about how they are going to change. I'll be interested in when that change is going to actually happen.
Yep, I don't feel sick like I did after Penn State. This was a better team than us this year and we deserved to lose.
Hope we are much better than them next year.
Actually it was Solomon that was prophetic.
They were the better team today. I just hope that the players and the coaches remember this when Sparty comes back down to earth and our starting roster is not littered with freshmen and sophomores. What comes around goes around.
With the sophomore and freshman crap. Players can Play that's not a good reason.
Don't get me wrong. I am still pissed about the lack of execution, particularly on offense, and I think that Borges has fully worn out his welcome. At the same time, if you think that experience doesn't have an effect on success on the field then you are crazy.
Stanford seems to be doing just fine with a young oline
- LT: Sophomore
- LG: Senior
- C: 5th-year Senior
- RG: 5th-year Senior
- RT: Senior
Ten of eleven starters on offense are juniors or seniors; ten of eleven starters on defense are juniors or seniors.
Where do you people come up with this crap?
Bo would probably want you to not post this.
with MSU also.
yep, they were the better team. who cares. We are Michigan. We are a better university overall.
Better prepared, and more hateful than M. This is a recipe for success in a rivalry game.
I'll give credit where credit is due. They kicked our asses today. They were more physical, and just better in every phase of the game. We can all talk about how it'll be so much easier next year because they lose a lot of guys to the draft, but Dantonio has shown that his defenses are not full of flukes and overachievers.
His offenses are nothing to brag about, but as long as they are at least mediocre and if his defenses maintain the status quo, they will be downright dangerous.
Pray Dantonio doesn't figure how how to recruit. If he does, we're in trouble.
Some have been average. Their inexperience is going to hurt them no matter how well coached they are. Plus, they may lose Narduzzi.
Then there is the expectation that Michigan may be much better.(fingers crossed)
News flash, we're already in the midst of trouble.
ever again. WE are the one's who are little brother the last five years. They have the better program at this point. They do more with less 4 and 5-star recruits and they produce the kind of defense we USED to have.
They played a tough, clean game and proved they are soooo much better than we are.
Good thing Michigan Football wasn't established five years ago, huh?
No, until they figure out time travel and found the Michigan Agricultural College before the University of Michigan, they will always be our little brother.
Congratulations Sparty on a great win for your program. They were clearly the better team today and played the way I wish we would have. A smothering defense is a difference maker. Our defense is good but not on the same caliber. Our offense has too many deficiencies to name and was no match for the Spartan D. On the bright side, I think we can all agree we have a deep pool of young talented players, with more on the way. Lets not take anything away from a great effort by MSU today. These are kids doing their best and today the better team won.
It has little to do with what is focused on. UM focuses on history because for much of the past decade, save 2006 that is just about all we have to hang our hats on. We have a bunch of 3-4 loss teams, mixed with RR debacle teams so what else is to dicuss but the glory of yesteryear. The program has been mediocre by top end program comparisons for quite a while.
MSU hates us, and you see the passion in basketball and football. The bball game last year you could see it in their bodies and mannerisms. You see the same thing in EL in 2011 and 2013. At that age being in your home stadium just flames it even more but it is difficult for us to understand as we have multiple rivals. It is a lot like sports in other countries - many countries live only for soccer, they dont have football, baseball, basketball - soccer it is. MSU does not have OSU, ND or anything else to worry about. UM is their passion, and their bloodlust. When they didnt match up in talent , they still kept most games close due to that. Now they have more talent...and even if the talent was even that level of complete hatred and passion would be a big benefit. UM is a long way away from having more talent and even further from having that passion. Maybe getting beaten down for a decade will do it - MSU is on the way, 5 out of 6 and next year we bring an even younger OL into EL and I dont expect much different of an outcome.
MSU spends 364 days a year obsessing about us and preparing for this game. On MLive today, they sent trolls to our blog, even though they had their own.... showcasing their obsession, while we as Michigan fans prefer to blog with other M fans. Not saying we should ever sink down to their level of fanbase but we do need to bring on the same level of intensity as we have towards OSU. I remember when MSU was a weak opponent, they are not that team now. They've always had crazy fan bases however. Remember when they voted against us going to the Rose Bowl?
We can match their intensity, the coaching stuff, I don't have the knowledge to speak to. I do have a perspective as a mom, though, and my heart goes out to Devin Gardner in a million ways for the strength and fortitude he displayed today. So grateful he was not more seriously injured.
It's just amusing to me how they still are so worked up over the comments from a Michigan player who graduated six years ago and went 4-0 against them. He kind of has the right to talk shit.
The truth hurts. The Michigan and MSU hate goes way beyond athletics.
I'm not saying it's not true, but why give those ass hats credit here? Fuck State!
One emotion from this game: DISGUST.
Congrats?
Oh my goodness, we must have some of the classiest fans in the world to take a rear-kicking like that and want to say "good beating, ol' chum!"
This obsession with class, LORD. How laughable.
Anger, disgust, despair, and then much much more disgust that we have lost again to those cretins from East Lansing.
The FREAKING ASCOTS IN THIS THREAD.
This was disgusting. No congrats. I hate Sparty. It's disgusting and pathetic that they are better than us. It is an ABOMINATION that they are THAT much better than us.
Fie on your awful thread and this cur's retreat to "class."
I really hope they beat Ohio State
You jokers! This shit-ass website is the only place where fans would fucking congratulate their most hated rival for beating them. Grow some fucking balls! Or would that negate everyone's pathetic fucking need to be PC? You're all a bunch of bozos. Get fucked!
Say what you wish, Michigan needed this outcome. Now there are no illusions about the progress of the program.
Pretty sure Hoke knows exactly what lessons there are to learn here.
Except for next year it will still be an away game and our Oline problems won't be fixed.
Dantonio is an excellent coach, as is Narduzzi.
No doubt, the better team won the game.
Congratulations.
I see delusional anti-Hoke crowd is out as well.
Fuck MSU. We played like crap, the offensive game plan sucked, we made a bad team look good. I will never respect their classless, ignorant fan base or program.
