The update make sense.  I don't know how this will play out, however, Oakland is a joke as is their ownership team.  We can and will pay Harbaugh more money, he loves Michigan more and oh . . . watch this and tell me he doesn't want to come here . . .

Perfect thread. This place is truly becoming a lunatic asylum. Everyone is convinced that Harbaw is some messiah who will bring championships. The more he is hyped the more I think our ten year football collapse is poised to continue.

this is a valid point.  if he comes, what are expectations?  people around here seem like it's 10+ at least guaranteed.  we have no qb.  look what is happening to 49ers with shoddy qb play.  dont get me wrong, i want him here and think he's the best hire, but he's not going to go undefeated just because he's jim harbaugh.

I'm tellin ya guys... I am very good friends with Jed York.. I went to school with him from Kindergarten-High School.... I still live in the same neighborhood as his parents to this day... I've been soooo tempted to text him during this whole ordeal ... Not sure he'd find the humor in it though haha... He's actually a pretty goofy dude though behind the scenes so ha never know.... I busted his balls pretty good when Jim first went to SF over some holiday beers .... Was pretty damn funny Disclaimer: I know nobody will believe me and I totally get it... But this is 1000% fact

Ohhh he is well aware of that stuff... Because obviously ...... When we were bullshittin about it a few years back it became a friendly Notre Dame (his Alma mater) vs Michigan spat... Many beers were consumed ... He's a pretty messed up dude when the cameras are off (in a good/funny way)!

Not a big deal.. Would never expect someone to believe it ... As I've only been posting here for 2 days now, I can't figure out how to post a picture from an IPad... Could show ya some high school yearbook pics and whatnot.... Anyways, not sure if it's pertinent or not, but one thing Jed told all our buddies was that JH literally couldn't give 2 shits about $$ .. He's got football on his brain 24/7... And his personality is way "out there" .... These are all things we know now , but Jed was telling actual stories (this was 4 years ago mind you).... He referred to Jim as a "very odd duck" ... I always found that pretty funny

Seriously though. How do people feel about possibly hiring Jim Harbaugh as our next head coach. I know it's controversial, but I believe hiring Jim Harbaugh would be good or Michigan football and that we should to it. Hear me out people. Har. Baugh. Harbaugh. It just works.
