The beauty in this tweet is it makes people think to be insulted.  People really don't like to do that.  Then, those who feel insulted... why?  Is there a reason you feel this way?  By being insulted are you admitting guilt?

Brilliant!

Indeed... Epic.  Good for him.  People always say what the hell is a "Michigan Man", well a Michigan Man is someone who throws out a quote like that and does his best to uphold the principles behind that sentiment. Integrity.  No program is above reproach, but nevertheless it should be a goal it strives for.  Be competitive as hell and do everything legally and morally right to get a win on Saturday.... but I'll be honest, I'd a sacrifice a win here and there to uphold higher principles.  Michigan Man:  Competitive as all hell and result oriented but doing so without compromising one's integrity.

He was clearly the best coach in the MWC with Utah then he went to UF where he was the best coach and had institutional advantages over SC and UGA and the west wasn't that good.

Saban came in and kicked his ass leading to "health problems"

Once Harbaugh goes 3-1, 4-1 against him, I suspect he moves on to maybe the PAC-12 or Big 12 where he can once again be the best coach in his conference.

I think he stays at OSU unless he gets fired, which would take something much worse than lying to recruits. Like it or not, Urban is probably going to be around for awhile. The good news is that Harbaugh could be the next Saban (but with ethics).

Kind of funny if it is in fact directed at OSU, but I think JH would be the first to say that talk (or tweets) is cheap. The way to really get in OSU's heads is to start beating them on the field. Urban has a head start (at least in terms of recruit rankings) so it might take a few years, but in the end, I do think JH is the better coach.

I have was working down in Ohio last year on the pipelines.  And i was sorrounded by Fuckeye fans and it was one of the hardest things i have ever had to do in my life.  I would walk in Mc Sports and i would OSU gear all over the walls.  I would say to the cashier i didnt know Ohio State had fans.  Everybody in the whole store would stop and look at me.  Of course this would make my friends who worked with from Michigan a little uneasy.  But for some reason i cannot control my dislike for that program.  And i love how everbody keeps bringing up what Meyer did at Florida.  It was funny how happy he was while Tebow was there and Florida was winning.  But when Saban stepped in Meyer started crying rivers.  Then Tebow left and Meyer was really crying rivers.  I guess the guy can coach but that dont really matter if your a douchebag of a person.  I cant stand how the SEC is always caught paying people to play for them.  Thats the one thing i LOVE about Michigan.  I feel like we have always done it the right way.  And if we had to cheat in order to win i would rather watch us lose.  Although i would have to buy like 5 new TV's and about 1,000 new universal remotes lol.  For some reason when Michigan loses i feel like im Shane Morris and i can throw the remote anywhere i want lol.

4 me its that bad.  I love Michigan and i listen to all the poop those guys talk.  Maybe im to competitive of a person.  But once they start running their mouth the last thought on my mind is having a debate.  And i was on the WV and OH border and thats all that was there was fuckeye fans.  The one thing that drives me nuts more then anything is when they say scUM university that shit pisses me off everytime.

Is up with people like the M Man dude over on the eleven warriors board. He is basically agreeing with their complaints and "distancing" himself from this Twitter behavior. Regarding his opinion, he can think what he wants though I suspect most of are fine with the tweet. It's nice to see Jim stir the pot on the rivalry.

My real question is why spend a bunch of your time virtually hanging out with a bunch of OSU fans? Does he think he is some sort of ambassador to the Ohio State fan base?

lol M Man is a self-loathing poster, who even the 11W staff despises. He doesn't like the MGoBoard b/c of our universal hatred for Dave Brandon, who he would suck off if given the opportunity. Constantly praises 11W for being above the fray and puts his own fanbase down in the process and claims he's a Michigan fan with his lengthy monologues that even the 11W posters get sick and tired of.

Dude is the embodiment of every negative Michigan stereotype. Sometimes I just think he's trolling 11W, but then he acts as if Michigan is the worst fanbase too and I wonder what the hell is his motivation.

Give me Buckeyejonross over that guy anyday.

Is just toeing the line. That site is grade A Butthurt. He has to appease them to stick around. I had an ID over there and let's just say they don't like discussion. It is pretty sad.

Though this board has gone the way of elevenwarriors in the past year or two though. A lot of self hate and denial over here lately.

I read OSU sites, but rarely post. I already know how I feel about Ohio State and I talk with fellow Buckeyes at work and with family and listen to local sports radio, so online I tend to go to rival websites to get a different perspective. I agree this was nice trolling by Harbaugh, and that he got a reaction (I wonder if there is one at the Bruin's sites as well) says more about the folks reacting to it than the quote itself. I imagine if Meyer released a quote about glass houses OSU fans would think it was great and you guys would be either defensive or dismissive. It is fun talk to pass away the off season.

This is a completely shady program that claims integrity and then supports its coaches through one fucking controvrersy after another proclaiming innocence. Every one of their of their NC coaches has ultimately been fired for lying, cheating or unsportsmanlike conduct and personal fouls. Take your pick. You can deny behavior, not historical fact.

Meyer lied when he claimed he didn't know his coach was leaving, which he used as an excuse to support an untenable position that he didn't know his RB coach implied to Mike Weber he wouldn't be his position coach in Columbus next season. Three days later he announces that Stan Dravton is being replaced by a top Florida recruiter off Brian Kelly's staff at Notre Dame. Are you fucking kidding me!

That's the deal in Buckeyeland. Tell a lie long enough it sounds pretty convincing, backed by a fanbase that can't accept the truth when it punches them in the face without wiggle room.

I think those motherless bastards are as greasy as the next guy, but I don't think losing a position coach will be the worst event of this kids life. I'll admit I'm much older now and a few years removed from my freshman year, but Weber will be OK. In any event, he could have given us a hard commit and avoided this.

Sun Tzu would be impressed. Step 1: build an army. Step 2: engage in psychological warfare. Step 3: devise a battle plan for November 28. Step 4: Destroy the enemy

I really dont think Michigan is that far behind OSU or MSU.  We have stayed in those games the past few years.  I love DG for how tough he is but for the love of god please dont just drop the football on the ground.  If we had better coaching i believe we would have won those games for sure.  I have watched every snap and alot of times i would watch games multiple times.  Our defense was keeping us in the MSU and OSU games.  But we couldnt move the damn ball.  And eventually the other teams started to pull away.  I knew going into the MSU and OSU games they thought our defense was gonna show up soft.  Bcuz at time we did in the past.  But we was winning the battle of toughness for at least half of the game.  But turnovers and horrible play calling killed us.  I mean I am a fan and 40% of the time i knew what play we was calling.  I felt like the Waterboy movie when the one team was reading how to coach college football for dummies book and blowing up every play the muddogs ran.  Coaching goes a long ways.  And OSU talks so much about how Harbaugh wont make a difference.  Are you kidding me how well did OSU do when Luke Fickell was their coach 6-7?  Meyer came in the next year and went undefeated.  So they can kiss my ass UM will do good this year and we do have talent.  There was seriously very little development under Hoke.  I love Jake Ryan but it really seemed like he went backwards from his Sophomore year on.  I know he changed positions and that will slow down progression.  But imagine how badass he would have been with 4 years with Harbaugh.
