I'm a little surprised that the interviewer didn't recognize that when Jim Harbaugh says, "you might have walked up late," the appropriate response is to run the stadium steps.

Yeah, the look when he was asked about the camps was pretty amusing, and I honestly don't know what sort of answer they expected out of him. As Harbaugh said, he's just out there coaching football, connecting with people. I would think the best reaction to the objections of the SEC's coaches is probably no visible reaction - after all, it must burn them even more that Harbaugh doesn't even seem to outwardly care what they think, and I like that.

seems like the comedian that says stuff waiting for the punch line to register then everybody laughs except the interviewer keeps asking stupid, lame questions.   He is going to be entertaining!

It was funny to see him crack a smile at the mention of Saban whinging about the satellite camps, and then put his poker face back on.  It seems pretty obvious that he enjoys the thought of poking that bear, being a pretty big farkin' bear himself.

I've avoided making any brash predictions about JH at UM.  MSU and OSU will be tough to catch, but definitely possible.  And I have no clue how long he'll stay.  In other words, nothing would surprise me the next few years.

But regardless, I have never had the back of a coach more than I do of JH.  I love his confidence and his "Don't Give A F#$%" attitude.  He is a great role model in how to have confidence in yourself and not worry about outside opinions/influences.  He is completely original and true to himself.

BTW...he handled the Saban Q perfectly.

Finally got around to watching this..and that is a man in command. Its been a long time since I watched a UM coach stand in front of a group and field questions from a position of complete command and confidence. You know the stage is not too big for him...might be too small.

And as far the satellite camps...the SEC/ACC/NCAA are being put on the spot everytime he gives his answer...he never waivers..its about the kids. The cynics have yet to answer that critical point...how is this bad for the kids? As Harbaugh said...those kids have something to talk about, a special few moments to share with their families and friends..all whilst learning, learning, learning...Saban, Mullens, etc...how is that a bad thing?

I don't think the camps are going away...and as good as they were this year..imagine how much better then could be next year now that kids all over the country know that they just might be discovered and end up in a dream situation with an offer from UM.
