They're feeling the heat after their conference runner-up got embarrassed by Michigan in their own backyard.

We're the one flame that is still burning the SEC. And that flame is growing at rapid rate. Commit by commit, camp by camp, headline by headline, win by win.

Eventually it's going to engulf the SEC along with the entire country when it builds high enough.

Then what are they gonna do?

If they weren't feeling threatened, they wouldn't be whining to the NCAA about satellite camps.

The Citrus Bowl was just the icing on the cake. Not only is Michigan setting up shop in FL this spring, having camps in the summer, but they just got a 34 point win over an SEC darling in their home state.

Well they were whining about satellite camps long before Michigan beat an average Florida team. Complaining to get every competitive advantage is one thing but you're making a ridiculous fan-boy leap to suggest the entire conference is threatened by a UM Citrus Bowl win? Really? Hell, 90% of the SEC may not play Michigan in the next 5 years. Yet the SEC is threatened and scared? It's just a ridiculous premise.

I'm just as excited about the future as the rest of us but come on back to reality a bit. Alabama, Auburn, Ole Miss, UT, LSU are all threatened and afraid of UM now?

I don't think the SEC is too worried about the B1G. I really hate their arrogance, but they have won bragging rights. Also, all teams try to protect their advantages; it doesn't necessitate being afraid, it's just good business.  I just want us to be highly competive with the best SEC teams.

probably would have beaten them again yesterday, thankfully they weren't there but just saying, they're threatened and also have been since their rigged BCS crap ended. And yeah, the SEC runner up did get smoked essentially at home. Sparty did too but sparty probably should not have been in the playoffs, is what it is.

I'd have to guess that they are just worried about UM and the Harbaugh Effect.  Not the Big Ten as a whole.  It doesn't matter what their runner up did.  The SEC Champ just won the National Championship.

I mean the B1G champion and runner up both were obliterated.

The SEC carries itself as "the strongest conference" because of Alabama.  Soon the B1G will because of Michigan.

Yeah but Saban has won half of those and Urban, who isn't even in the conference anymore, won 2 championships. LSU just almost fired Les Miles because he can't beat Saban and Auburn won that one year because they had Cam Newton and no one else did. Alabama fans can talk smack, the rest of the conference can sit down and shut up. You don't get points if your rival wins a title.
