When will you guys learn. He only references his gut when it's something he heard from a direct source. And by source I mean either the coaching staff or the kids themselves. His "gut feeling" is never something to take lightly.

I think eventually he will land at guard for his days as a starter here. Now they can move him around to fit needs, which obviously NT is as of Saturday. But I think overall his highest ceiling and greatest utility in this offense is at guard. I think we will return Hurst and Mone next year, Gary can play any position on the line, and Dwumfour is already getting snaps so he should see a bigger role next fall as well. 350 lb guards that move well enough to pull like Mike does do not come around too often. I think Jim and Drevno being offensive minds, wanting to be able to run power with a Mack truck will get him on O ultimately.

But I wouldn't hate having a Wilfork on the DL either.

It doesn't transfer into the transcript but the video of Harbaugh speaking about Mone and Charlton - with all his tone and pauses - appeared somewhere between "I'm confident they'll be back this season" and "I'll be surprised if they are not back this season."

I'd like to see it as Wormley/Hurst/Glasgow/Gary on running downs and then a Gary/Wormley/Hurst/Winovich or Marshall package for passing downs.

We ran way more 30 front than I was anticipating seeing Saturday, however. So you could see more of Wormley/Glasgow/Gary with a heavy rotation of Hurst with Gary and Wormley interchangeable at the two end spots. With UCF also running an up-tempo spread I don't think we will run less 30 fronts this week.
