Harbaugh's a lock for the Raiders
I'll show my self out now.
February 24th, 2015 at 9:58 PM ^
Yeah, Adam Schefter is still saying he will stay in the pros....
February 24th, 2015 at 9:08 PM ^
...it happened.
February 24th, 2015 at 9:12 PM ^
I never realized how much I needed to see this until now.
February 24th, 2015 at 9:17 PM ^
Harbaugh at the podium for a Michigan football presser is pretty damn sweet. I sometimes forget how good of a football coach he is because I just get so caught up in #Harbaugh
February 24th, 2015 at 9:40 PM ^
photo from earlier. I thought it might have been photoshopped.
February 24th, 2015 at 9:43 PM ^
Cathartic.
(Edit: as an aside, I gave Kenny G way too much crap as a kid. He isn't bad).
February 25th, 2015 at 6:45 AM ^
They should have had Kenny G rap and Warren G play the sax.
February 24th, 2015 at 9:05 PM ^
I'm going to watch these as soon as they come out and then also binge watch them later.
February 24th, 2015 at 9:08 PM ^
We're gonna win
February 24th, 2015 at 9:12 PM ^
I love his non-answers.
February 24th, 2015 at 10:14 PM ^
.. and i just love him in general
February 24th, 2015 at 9:12 PM ^
He says nothing meaningful. his approach to these pressers isnt much different than Hoke -- wont ever say anything negative, commits to nothing, gives nothing away, extremely generic responses. Not exactly Steve Spurrier behind the mike, for better or worse.

But he is immensely more articulate and quotable than Hoke. I don't really have a big problem if he doesn't want to tell us anything in a presser. I do hope some sort of Michigan Replay-type show can/will happen, whether that's the athletic department doing it or someone else.
February 24th, 2015 at 9:42 PM ^
than Hoke. how about that first question. Gave the journalist that "you're an idiot" stare. . . .
the intensity is awesome.
February 24th, 2015 at 9:55 PM ^
Agreed. He gave most of the questioners the, "Its the first f'ing practice..." prologue stare. Woe unto those writers covering his pressers after losses.
February 24th, 2015 at 9:59 PM ^
Cut him a little slack as it has only been 1 practice.
February 24th, 2015 at 10:02 PM ^
harbaugh is careful and calculated while hoke was just clueless
February 24th, 2015 at 9:12 PM ^
100% pure Colombian awesome.

Columbia is awesome.

At some point I need to be an adult and not a fan-girl...but I still am in a state of awe that Jim is out coach. His presence and celebrity is something we've been missing for much longer than our recent drought of success.
February 24th, 2015 at 9:15 PM ^
about his AND my mental health if I watch a whole lot of these?
February 24th, 2015 at 9:18 PM ^
You can just see and feel the intensity in that man. He wanted to beat the crap out that guy who asked the quarterback question. Wow!
February 24th, 2015 at 9:25 PM ^
He realizes doing this is part of his job, but hates it because it takes time away from preparing the team. He is giving the Q and A a small percentage of his brain activity while simultaneously re-running today's practice in his head, planning the next one, getting organized for the coaches meeting later tonight, and running through recruiting calls on deck. Stop interviewing him, man has work to do!
February 24th, 2015 at 9:41 PM ^
He looked pretty intense even giving the normal presser answers that we would expect, but it was a look that said to me that he wanted to get right back out there and continue with what he just came from doing. I didn't really have an issue with anything he said - I actually was enjoying that he seemed to be mulling over what he saw today as he was speaking.
February 25th, 2015 at 6:48 AM ^
It looks like someone squished his face, Super Mario 64-style:
February 24th, 2015 at 9:25 PM ^
"Coach is it an upper body or lower body injury?"
"Yeah."
February 24th, 2015 at 9:27 PM ^
Sorry for this post being off topic, but this pizza looks amazing.
February 24th, 2015 at 9:27 PM ^
Anyone else expecting the 49ers more talkative harbaugh? Or is he always like this? Either way awesome.
February 24th, 2015 at 9:32 PM ^
He'll get there but it's seriously only been a single day of practice. Not much to glean from at all. These reporters are just looking for any morsel of meat on the bone.
February 24th, 2015 at 9:35 PM ^
a Harboner. This man was born to wear that block M hat and I have uncontrollable tingly feelings all over.
February 24th, 2015 at 9:36 PM ^
The entire 15 minute presser is up on MGoBlue
February 24th, 2015 at 9:38 PM ^
I couldn't be happier he's wearing the New Era cap.
I was really hoping he would, mostly because the Adidas hats look dumb, and coaches should wear a hat.
Not a visor, and not one made of straw.
February 24th, 2015 at 9:39 PM ^
He has this "Get off my grass" quality when he's in full battle armor (khax, Michigan sweatshirt and Bo cap).
February 24th, 2015 at 9:43 PM ^
I love when he stops answering a question, and then someone else begins asking a separate question. Then he continues answering the first question while completely ignoring and talking over the second.
February 24th, 2015 at 9:42 PM ^
Love it. I see where Harbaugh struggles though, he does not suffer fools. You can see it in his eye contact (or lack of) and body language. He is a football genius forced to discuss it with mortals.

Bacon's new book doesn't come out until September and it's already #1 on Amazon's Best Sellers in Football.

That's just from WD's pre-order.
February 24th, 2015 at 9:51 PM ^
Completely smitten with this coach.
The fact that he takes time to fully answer a question as if he's having a conversation with just one person when obviously the reporters have moved on is truly outstanding. It's that little shred of meticulousness that drops down to all of the coaches, players, and staff that tells me were heading in the right direction.
February 24th, 2015 at 9:54 PM ^
love the hat!!! i get a fresh one every year in august.
February 24th, 2015 at 9:55 PM ^
Interesting answer to the QB question. He said he hopes that someone will emerge and be way ahead of the others and that it won't be a hard decision. I don't think I have ever heard a coach answer a question like that without making it about competition and fighting for the starting job.
