Love it. I have a feeling that the last staff was not that great at identifying who their best players were, especially on the offensive side of the ball. I think that'll change.

YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE HARBAUGH.
February 12th, 2015 at 10:58 AM ^
can turn this thing around quickly. The Conutry Club atmosphere is gone!
February 12th, 2015 at 10:58 AM ^
Was this truly the impression of the players gave off? I always thought it was cop-out by a woefully inefficient coaching staff that didn't know how to get the most out of its players.
I couldn't be mad at the stake incident and some of the players mouthing off if the coaches were not doing a good job preparing and motivating them.
February 12th, 2015 at 11:14 AM ^
it looked to me that the players played with a sense of entitlement under Hoke and even before. That just showing up and "being Michigan" was an end in itself. The legends jerseys did not help thing, nor did the air shows. Who needs to actually play in a big game, we will just create one. Look, planes!!

eh I don't think Funchess really thought that wins and losses didn't matter. I think he was just frustrated with the criticism coming after every loss beacause the team wasn't good and since he was the best player with people talking about boycotting games he cracked.
February 12th, 2015 at 12:20 PM ^
While I think the flyovers were definitely overdone, to blame them for an entitled attitude by the players seems a bit over the top.

I kind of agree. For every poster who points to Funchess as an example of how Hoke was running Club Med in Schembechler Hall, I would point to Devin Gardner who played like a warrior through all kinds of injuries during his time there.
February 12th, 2015 at 12:44 PM ^
Then you'd be pointing out individual character not coach's expectations. I think it boils down to one can only try so hard at the wrong things. Not to mention, there is a difference between reaching one's percieved limits and pushing past them.

I never got the sense players were not playing as best they could. I repeatedly got the sense that the schemes were lousy, the adjustments were non-existant, and the offense in particular was incoherent. (I suppose there may have been a couple exceptions, but overall the team played hard.)

Man, I'm ready to practice in his house too.

I have had a no Twitter policy up to now. I think that may have to change.

I took the plunge shortly after the COH, too.
COH = Coming Of Harbaugh

here for twitter stuff. If it's a good tweet chances are it'll be posted here. That way I don't have to wade through the other bullshit that the rest of twitter entails.

No depth chart. Find the 22 toughest S.O.B.'s and turn 'em loose.

Our kickers need to be tough SOBs too!
February 12th, 2015 at 12:21 PM ^
Jim himself will get into kicking contests with them. They'd better bring it.
February 12th, 2015 at 11:00 AM ^
Totally agree. Harbaugh will get the most out of every player that wants to be here. We may see some attrition after the spring but, that may not be a bad thing.

February 12th, 2015 at 4:00 PM ^
how great they could have been? There will always be a few kids that play hard no matter what. But if your saying this teams not soft your nuts.We get punched in the mouth and fold up like a cheap tent.
February 12th, 2015 at 2:26 PM ^
will they have to rotate out after the first 3 plays of the game though if someone else sweated equally during practice?
itll be nice to have "starters" again - especially since harbaughs very open about his favorites being the playmakers
