Harbaugh on Partridge
He's a fan. The money quotes:
"'He's doing an amazing job. If I had one more spot, another spot on the coaching staff, it would be Chris Partridge,' Harbaugh said Tuesday evening. 'I've really been that impressed with him as a coach.'"
"'You don't know what (might) happen with the hiring cycles, once the pro hiring cycles begin,' he said. 'But it can't be soon enough to get Chris Partridge as a full-time coach. I've been that impressed with him.'"
"'He's a shining star, he's a rising superstar in this profession,' Harbaugh said. 'We'll find (something).'"

He will take over for G-Matt when he retires after this season, and I will be fine with that.

I hope he stays with us. Make it happen Jimmy- Durkin is lurking and all he needs to do is see this and he will offer him.
Note: I really like Durkin but I feel after all I am reading he is a bit ungrateful to what our coach had done for him. Prior talks Durkin came after him and I see him offering some crazy coaching position.

Now there are question marks to him keeping a coaching title right now. Back to recruiter role.
Hope your right.

I don't think he will be demoted. All it takes is one NFL or college team offering a promotion to one of our position coaches and he will have a spot.
We are no longer in the Hoke Era. Harbaugh's assistants will be in demand.
December 23rd, 2015 at 9:47 AM ^
That's how I read Harbaugh's comment - that he basically knows at least one defensive coach is likely leaving for the pros and has told Partridge he's getting the role, with it all announced after signing day.

If anyone was leaving, my guess is it would be Greg Jackson heading back to the pros.

he would be gone.
Either he or Fisch are the most likely. Depends on the NFL coaching carousel after the Super Bowl.

I'm not convinced he stays after NSD. He certainly could go back to the recruiting coordinator roll or take over if a position coach leaves, but if a spot doesn't open I wonder if he will keep his current job for another year or go somewhere else as a coach.

I wonder how much the Recruiting Coordinator roll makes? ANyone know? Good Pay?

Actually, I've heard that in different parts of the state. Obviously a generational thing and may be a Midwestern thing. I have not heard that in my many travels to the south and west.

Grew up in Saginaw and I don't think it's a regional thing. I've encountered it everywhere I've been, and I've spent significant time in all areas of the country.

I think it's like $100k. Not much comparatively, but he's obviously banking on the upside once he gets promoted.
