Harbaugh to Michigan History

Submitted by UmichFord on

Somebody put together a cool video on youtube that compiled lots of newsclips, press conferences, etc spanning from Shane's concussion, to Brandon's "resignation," through to Harbaugh coming home to Ann Arbor. It's over an hour long, but I enjoyed watching it and reliving the many ups and downs we went through from October to now. Can't wait for Thursday night.

Edit: Skip to 44 minutes in to hear John Harbaugh tell funny young Jim Harbaugh stories

Charles Woodson must've had the biggest grin on his face when he was interviewed by Rich Eisen asking about the odds of Harbaugh coming to Michigan on Dec 9.

I wish it was a video interview LOL.

Oh and the John Harbaugh segment was pure jokes too.

it's either that or vffegthbipi. I think. I'm very close to a concrete answer so some "hair of the dog" should be in order. What's that? It's Sunday? Oh, vsociety doesn't want me dining drinking on a Sunday morning. Hmm.....what if I haven't been to bed so it's still kinda Saturday nigh - no? Solid "no", huh. Well, vgffegthbipi that BS!

Loved this video when I first watched it. Already thought it would be posted here so didn't bother for the fear of getting negged to death.

Note the amount of egg on everybody's face from the beginning of that video.. especially Skip Bayless and SAS bahahhaha.

This is well put together.  Thanks for sharing.  Im only 5 min in.  Its amazing how Clueless, Brady Hoke was.  He clearly was in over his head and oblivious to his inadequacies.

Being Best Buds with all of the Rival opposing coaches (All Hugs and Laughs with Kelly, buddies and apologies to Dantonio, eating a pan of ribs with Urban).  Hoke is a nice guy but was utterly the wrong man for the job and a Puppet for Evil Corp Brandon.

But...thank goodness that that regime lead to ...Harbaugh.

Time to watch the rest of the story...

edit...I dont mean to rail on Brady and I apologize to anyone who takes offense to it.  I just wish that the man had made more effort to back up his tough talk.

I may not sleep til Thursday. I am that excited! It was worth a watch though if you have time to kill. But I do agree, ending it with that Cowherd interview was an odd choice.

Okay, I started this damn thing at 2am and couldn't bring myself to stop watching it. It was well put together, had great, relevant material and then after well over an hour that's how they end it? WTF? I wish I had known that going in.

I really hope Brandon's Lasting Lessons covers how the media was just so completely wrong. Who invented the story that Michigan had met with Harbaugh but came away with the feeling that he wanted to stay in the NFL? Based on one of the excerpts, it seems like Hackett and Harbaugh knew pretty early that it was happening.

This brings back the memories of hope gradually turning into reality. And the million times I said, "Stop fooling yourself."

And to the Iowa Hawkeye fan who went on rivals and said, "LOL at all the Michigan fans who think they'll get Harbaugh!"

Suck it.

Definitely worth the watch at a hour and some change. This is all still surreal to me. It'll probably sink in around 8pm Thursday night when I see him on the sidelines going through his normal mannerisms and antics. Go Blue!

1. Harbaugh looks so much better with the Bo cap than that 49ers.

2. I am laughing my butt off at all the NFL "experts."  It's SO much better in retrospect, with the Mwoo-Ha-Ha! knowledge that it happened.

All these "experts" who said he had no chance of coming to Michigan are the same "experts" who are mostly all saying 7-5/8-4 record this year too.

I don't see any games I'm counting as automatic losses on the schedule.
