Yes! He's an ace recruiter in Ohio and a great TE coach.

I guess he'd be fibula-ing if he said it didn't hurt his femur.
January 2nd, 2015 at 6:24 PM ^
I'm sure he would get a nice raise if he were to switch...

Scout is saying the position has been offered to Marrow.

Michigan has offered a position to Kentucky TE coach Vince Marrow. No decision yet from Marrow.($) http://t.co/SQF1BIQaYd

An assistant coaching position under Harbaugh would be a huge upward career move for Marrow. Four years ago, he was a GA.
As coach: | |

Since UK was 2-10 in 2013 and 5-7 in 2014, the coaching staff's job security there is pretty shakey.
If Harbaugh offers Marrow an assistant coaching position, he would probably jump at it. Especially considering at the upward mobility of Harbaugh's assistants since USD..

Yes, I played football at Delta in Muncie IN. We had a bunch of position coaches; both lines, DE, LBs, DBs, WR/TE, and wing backs. Our OC was the head coach who was the (QB coach) and the O-line coach was also Co-OC. The DC was the DB coach.

Hmmm. RT @DanMurphyESPN: So @TomLoy247 tells me Dan Ferrignowill not return as Michigan’s tight end coach.

My brain actually spent about 12 seconds trying to figure out who the hell coach Ferrignowill was...both how to pronounce it and why I hadn't heard of him...then I thought of the Hulk and then I sorted it out.
Thanks for giving my brain a well-needed round of exercise after hours and hours and hours of watching football on TV.

I embeded the tweet as usual. I don't know why it did that and not sure how to fix it without making it worse.
January 2nd, 2015 at 10:08 PM ^
More amazing is Maize & Brew's apparent ability to tweet from the future.
January 2nd, 2015 at 6:46 PM ^
I'm gonna go ahead and say not that guy.
January 2nd, 2015 at 8:07 PM ^
Why?
January 2nd, 2015 at 9:42 PM ^
I was replying to the guy not knowing who to trust with Marrow info, not Marrow himself.

Vince "Cosmo" Marrow pushin' da strong pimp hand.

Holy shit, if we got Marrow what an amazing coaching staff.
Drevno, Durkin, Mattison, Manning, Marrow, and of course Harbaugh! All these guys are crazy good recruiters.
January 2nd, 2015 at 6:35 PM ^
Recruiting is nice and all, but can they develope players? Hoke's staff was top 10 in terms of recruiting and yet we went 5-7. I'd rather win games than win recruiting, though hopefully we do both very well now!
January 2nd, 2015 at 6:39 PM ^
We know Harbaugh can develop players. The defense for the most part developed normally, so Mattison isn't an issue. Drevno helped develop guys like David DeCastro at Stanford and saw his entire starting OL in San Fran make the Pro Bowl in 2012. So he isn't a problem either.
Marrow, from all I have read, is both, a good recruiter, and a good coach. He would be a welcome addition to the staff for Jake Butt to learn from, and, hopefully, Chris Clark.
