Nice MLive piece with a bunch of quotes from Coach.

On recruiting: "I love it. I've told Sarah, my wife, and other coaches that it's not even work.

On his love for Judge Judy: "Sarah can tell you right now that there's probably 83 unwatched, DVR'd 'Judge Judy' (episodes) I haven't been able to get to. I watch it every day when I can. There's life lessons in Judge Judy.

The dame dispenses sweet justice. Kicks more ass at 80 than most men in their lifetimes. As a vigilante who is happy to unleash justice on people who cut lines or talk too loud in movies, I love the heat this lady brings and am 100% behind the nascent #CaptainJudy movement.

your dvr won't hold 83 half hour shows? Lmao my 12 year old once set my DVR to record all "new" Dr. Who episodes, I don't remember the exact number of episodes it recorded of the 50 year run of Dr. Who but it was way more than 83 episodes and Dr. Who is an hour long.

No, the British can be trained.

We (Americans) worked with the British bartenders to know to have beer on ice for us prior to our arrival.  It would usually take a few weeks for us to get every bartender trained at a given pub we frequented or the hotel bar, but it did work.  They aren't used to being tipped over there and the regular 5 or 10 pound note in exchange for having the beer chilled was appreciated by them.

especially this line.... Sir Andrew Scott, I believe it was, said 'I'm a little bit wounded, I'll lay down and bleed a while but then I'll rise and fight again.'

A family friend of mine was a cheerleader at Stanford when Harbaugh was coaching there. I remember talking briefly with her about him at Christmas time and she said he's a great coach and he's really nice....but he's kind of a crazy. And my reaction at the time was, "huh?"

Several years later, I get it. And I love it.

I think I used to annoy people a lot (more) when I was younger. They didn't want anything to do with me. It was 'hey, how's it going, wanna play catch ... no, we can't, I don't want to be around you anymore.' ... I wanted to be going all the time. I ran out of friends that I had or people that wanted to be around me, so that wall was always there. And I can understand that.

It's not like I didn't have any friends, but there probably wasn't a friend I had that I didn't have a falling out with at least once.  I would totally climb trees or use blood as war paint if I didn't expend most of my emotional energy suppressing this personality on a daily basis.

At this point, pretty much everyone on my FB is a very patient and forgiving person.  Not so much because I went out of my way to get to know these sorts of people, but because those were the only sorts of people that were left when the smoke cleared.

I'm Harbaugh without the genius.  I hate it.  There isn't much upside to having this sort of personality if it doesn't come with superpowers.

I'll admit it - sitting in my office reading that I teared up a little bit. The amount of self-reflection and self-awareness in those comments is mind-boggling for one interview.

If you think about the life experiences Harbaugh has, the way he thinks about football and his players, coupled with his quirky personality it just makes me happy. Happy that he is leading our program. I never ever ever want this to end.

Finally got a chance to listen, and such a great interview. So much better than anything you get at Media Days or the like. It was much more personal because you can tell he's so comfortable with Waddle.

Leave me in my misery and my pain," he explained. "Sir Andrew Scott, I believe it was, said 'I'm a little bit wounded, I'll lay down and bleed a while but then I'll rise and fight again.'
"I prefer that than crying on somebody's shoulder."

Savage! I LOVE this dude, man!
