Small sample size and time will tell but Devin Bush might just be our best player at any position. Glad coach is excited about him too.

Bush is a beast but he is so wantonly aggressive that nightmarish images of sideline Crable vs Troy Smith dance in my head portending an unsportsmanlike penalty at a most inopportune time under the extra amplitude of a rivalry game. Hope I am wrong.

Those guys up front are fun to watch. Winovich is like Ryan reincarnated. And Hurst and Gary are Brandon Grahm revisited, a double dose of unrepented will and focus. I loved Wnovich comments after the game on Saturday.

Sorry, maybe I shouldn't comment on this, and then he did.

And can we get over a college kid spinning the ball on the field. Yeah it's not the NFL. And we like it when  our kids just show class and just hand the ball to the referee or the officiial after a big play or TD. And I am an official in my other life.

But that penalty on Perry on Saturday was lame. Football is a game of emotion. You keep it under control. But officials never admit mistakes and they cost  Michigan a TD and last year in Columbus they cost Michigan a shot at the Final Four.

So, I don't give a damn about their sensibility. They sighed up for this. Deal with it. Perry wasn't showing anyone up. He showed some attitude. And there is a lot of attitude that never gets called in football. You could have left that go. In any case, I don't see Perry as a bad buy because he spins the ball.

Steve Smith did that during his career in Charlotte for the Panthers and believe me, this guy had more attitude for a 5-7 pro athlete than I've seen in guys a foot taller. It's still a game. And spinning the ball hurt no one.

Someone posted the rule in another thread. It's a penalty if the official has to retrieve the ball. I don't recall that happening. I coached a baseball team full of bottle flippers and that shit can drive you crazy. I can deal with a little football spinning. If they called that on Florida, I'd take the yardage but I would still think it was a lame call.

Glad Coach noticed the lackluster effort by our guys after the interceptions and is chomping at the bit to address it. Atrocious was the correct word.

It was a pathetic effort to stop the scores after the interceptions. As if they were in total shock and in quick sand. Speight was the only one running his ass off to stop the scores. Definitely needs to be addressed.

I didn't even notice that, good observation. Our defense was dominating Florida. Even if we stopped them at the five yard line, they most likely would of only gotten 6 points max from the two turnovers. Motor is important regardless of what happened. You cannot sit around and go "oh shit he turned it over again", you run your ass down the field and push him out at the 4 yard line and give our defense a chance to prove its worth.

it`s so nice having a great coach that demands great effort from everybody. that is what makes alabama and osu so great. sure they have great athletes, but those coaches demand greatness, they dont settle for less. there was no effort to tackle them after the interceptions and i was so glad to see harbaugh address it. with that defense dont let a mistake turn into an automatic td.

When Harbaugh is subdued it means he is genuinely pleased with the progress of his team and where it might be headed. And all the arrows point up. This defense is very fast.

And now we got options to score from anywhere between the 35 and in. That breeds confidence. I like this team.

Coach was talking about sacks and Gary.

Gary will most likely never have the numbers he deserves.  He creates havoc for others to clean up and get stats.  Didn't seem to me that the stat sheet ever treated N. Suh that well.

Crawford had a much better game than stat sheet too.  TD called back.  He was overthrown on a sure TD, etc.  It'll even out for him.

Coach mentioned Big Mike, so he must've seen something he liked.  I like Mike. I wanna be like Mike.

My last hot-take... Ulizio got beat by speed, correct?  Just going off of memory, but he didn't get bullrushed, iirc.  If he doesn't have the quickness, I think they can coach him up to anticipate the rush better and overcome some of that.
