Harbaugh introduces the Employee of the Year Award

Submitted by Wolverine Devotee on

Every facet of the program he pays attention to. Every detail.

From the color of the goalposts being changed in the offseason from white to Maize, to bringing back black shoes and white socks.

The winner gets an all-expense paid trip to the Citrus Bowl and a cash prize.

Harbaugh's attention to the the most minute detail of every aspect of this program is why he is absolutely going to succeed in restoring our program to atop the CFB world.  The guy just lives, eats, sleeps and breathes his job.

There was a great Onion article (posted on the board) late this summer about how Harbaugh personally tested every single seat in the Big House and wrote a review of each.  While obviously parody, it wasn't that far off.  This guy is awesome.

As much as I Like to support custodians for all they do, as well as equipment managers, I can't pass up a secretary hired by Bo in 79. (Mattison doesn't need an explanation, but his compensation, perks, and status don't need an explanation either. )

No disrespect intended to any of the other fine nominees, but the award should go to Mary Passink. When (if ever) she retires, the award should be named after her.

Love that Harbaugh's doing this, but I still have to nitpick at whoever wrote up the ballot:  "The winner...will receive an all expensive paid trip..."  Cumong, man!

Anyway, a very classy move by a coach that's doing all the things correctly, big and small!
