Harbaugh has named a starting QB, just not publicly
According to some, Jim has made a decision on whom to start Thursday night, but we the people will not know until (likely) game time - or close to it. I'm sure most people outside of Fort Harbaugh believe it will be Jake.

Megan Betsa will revolutionize football with a newly developed underhand pass. She will lead the nation in passing with 14.33333333333 YPA.

Knock 'em down.....

it's just Megan. Thanks.

I recall seeing a chip of Johnny Unitas making an underhand throw on the run back when nfl films played on ESPN during the day in the 90s. I'll see if I can dig it up

So here's this...
September 1st, 2015 at 4:09 PM ^
in a moment of frustration, i remember a washed-up archie with the vikings throwing a 20-30 yard spiral underhanded while under pressure and caught by a receiver. blew my mind at the time.

I'm not sure he's able to travel.
September 1st, 2015 at 1:34 PM ^
Spike is by Far the best passer at Michigan! What a great idea! He'd be a walk on for football and wouldn't count against the scholarship limits. I don't think there's anything stopping him from having immediately eligibility but I don't know what time the plane leaves today. If it's too late to make the flight maybe one of the Mgopilots can fly him out in the Harbjet?
Would he use a football or a basketball, and what is the minimum inflation level for the bball are the key questions.

Some of these point guards who aren't athletic enough for the NBA could make awesome QBs a la Charlie Ward
September 1st, 2015 at 2:37 PM ^
besides Charlie ward, is there another example? I mean that was over 20 years ago and I don't remember any other examples since.

BOOM! NOTVERYGOODEXAMPLE'D!

Granted he never played collegiate football, but he was an outstanding HS QB that likely would have been a highly recruited football recruit had he not been one of the greatest basketball players of his era, and also not crazy.

Sticking with the VA two sport stars, Ronald Curry started at QB & PG for North Carolina. He did/does play in the NFL although it is/was as a DB for the Raiders.
September 1st, 2015 at 3:11 PM ^
It was the other way around - Ward wasn't drafted by the NFL but had a long NBA career.

On QB "OR," Harbaugh says "I want both of them to prepare like they're going to be the starter," but then says they know who the starter is.

Jake Rudock OR Jim Harbaugh.
September 1st, 2015 at 1:28 PM ^
Jake. fewer turnovers would have meant a bowl game last season

Steven Threet
September 1st, 2015 at 2:21 PM ^
Was he just misquoted in 2012? Did he mean "Where's the Threet?"
September 1st, 2015 at 1:31 PM ^
But how do I watch the game?

It is I, Clarence Boddicker!

Except for Utah fans who still are pointing out that UM doesn't even know it's QB yet. The Utah fanbase is acting very weird. Don't know if that's normal or because of UM.

I just think they're desperate and doing anything they can think of to get in the heads of our players and coaches.
September 1st, 2015 at 1:43 PM ^
...we've all known for 2-3 weeks.
September 1st, 2015 at 1:45 PM ^
I can't even pretend to give a shit what the Utah fanbase thinks or says.
September 1st, 2015 at 3:28 PM ^
Isn't it pretty obvious, or at least logical, that Harbaugh wouldn't reveal a definite starter until game time to force Utah to prepare for both? It's a decided advantage especially when the possible QB's have quite different strengths, weaknesses and tendancies. Not to mention one is a lefty.
September 1st, 2015 at 1:39 PM ^
I'm thinking it all came down to who could run the wishbone better.
September 1st, 2015 at 1:39 PM ^
She will be our starting QB
...then when we face osu cardale wont be able to perform
Go Blue
September 1st, 2015 at 1:59 PM ^
She could escape every tackle. I know I'd be afraid to try to tackle her. I don't like broken bones lol
September 1st, 2015 at 1:39 PM ^
Jared Lorenzen.
September 1st, 2015 at 1:40 PM ^
I think both will play but JT will get 95% of the snaps.
September 1st, 2015 at 1:44 PM ^
Fuck OSU.

Yeah!! Fuck em.

Tacopants has been spotted playing corner for the Eagles in Madden '16.
September 1st, 2015 at 1:44 PM ^
It's Brian Cleary. Insider info here. I heard from a friend of one of my uncles cousins who knows Harbaughs brother in law who is a complete asshole.
September 1st, 2015 at 1:49 PM ^
Sadly, it's Not Tom Brady.
September 1st, 2015 at 1:47 PM ^
The press can't put "Shane Morris" in print without a comma and "0 touchdowns and 5 interceptions" somewhere after it. I really hope, sooner or later, he earns the chance to address that on the field.
September 1st, 2015 at 1:51 PM ^
I do, too. I have been rooting for the guy for a while. It's very unfortunate that he has had horrific coaching during his tenure at Michigan.
