I thought I saw the same but couldn't tell if the cameras missed it. When the two were on camera it almost looked like Frost was avoiding Harbaugh but it could've been post handshake?
September 10th, 2016 at 4:52 PM ^
They switched cameras right after the handshake, and you can see the two walking away from each other. Pretty sure it happened because Frost was not looking for Harbaugh as they were walking away. If one side had stiffed the other, I would have expected that person to linger and stare.

I thought I saw them meet on field as time ran out, but wasn't paying attention to the handshake.

Going for it and running out the clock was the correct decision.

Noooooo. We definitely should've punted there. Coffin corner from the 18yd line.

You don't like it, stop them on 4th down.

Didn't think this was running up the score and I seriously doubt that Frost does. But what he did to Carroll, you're absolutely right, THAT was running up the score. I loved it.

I'd rather have a coach who was more concerned with getting his QB meaningful snaps than being nice to other coaches.
September 10th, 2016 at 4:07 PM ^
You don't win national championships by being nice. You do what's best for the development of your team. Period.

Double standards here are outrageous. If Meyer didn't shake hands at the end of the game he'd be crucified. I'm not saying Harbaugh is in the wrong, but I'm assuming you wouldn't let it fly for other coaches because they're giving their "QBs meaningful snaps."
That's an assumption on my part, so if that doesn't hold true then you can disregard this reply.

We may want to wait to find out if it's true about the non-handshake before getting on our soapboxes.

Very few here would care if Meyer shook hands with some random coach. You might hear from a vocal few and then plenty of others defending him. Every time someone here makes a petty complaint about OSU, they get shouted down. Pretty much like with Harbaugh.
Complaints about the plays at the end of the game are hard for me to understand. Surely it didn't look like an attempt to run up the score. Going for 4th down at the end was automatic. Kicking the field goal would be frowned upon.

Hey now. Punting was the obvious way to go.

Maybe we should wait until someone who was at the game weighs in here, because the tv broadcast cut out pretty quickly while Harbaugh was greeting at least half of the UCF football team. Another game to switch to, after all--I would have wanted the same thing if I was waiting to watch a Michigan game. If they passed each other, seems reasonable that they might catch each other when they double back.

Harbaugh went enthusiastically to shake the hands of the UCF players.
Frost did the same to UM players.
They missed each other.
Not uncommon.
