Harbaugh Film Sessions - Post loss accountability
Please delete if this has been posted or discussed already; but Harbaugh post loss apparently singles people out and expects full accountability for mistakes (sorry if my formatting is off):

How it should be. If you fuck up, your held accountable, welcome to life!
September 9th, 2015 at 11:30 AM ^
You fucked up. You're accountable.
September 9th, 2015 at 11:35 AM ^
Way to hold him accountable. Jim approves.
September 9th, 2015 at 1:06 PM ^
Learn from your mistakes and get back out there kid!
September 9th, 2015 at 1:59 PM ^
*You're* right! I'm gonna pick myself up, learn from my mistakes and go out there and kill it! Every moment of every day!
September 9th, 2015 at 6:43 PM ^
Attack every moment of every day with enthusiasm unknown to mankind!
September 9th, 2015 at 2:56 PM ^
You done messed up, A A Ron! You done messed up!
September 9th, 2015 at 11:58 AM ^
You sure did and you will be held to a higher standard.
September 9th, 2015 at 3:24 PM ^
Upvoted for owning possessives.
September 9th, 2015 at 12:39 PM ^
This could be used in several threads today.

I think we need something on the board for the correct spelling of Rudock.
September 9th, 2015 at 12:58 PM ^
But we'll have to teach it to our phones' autocorrect.
September 9th, 2015 at 1:03 PM ^
I already did. When I just had heard the pronunciation I thought there would be two d's and spelled it that way for the first few weeks after he was brought up as an option. I quickly went in an created a shortform on my iPhone to change Ruddock to Rudock
September 9th, 2015 at 1:01 PM ^
I love how Brian gets his panties in a bunch about an extra "d" but the fact he couldn't pronounce Lewan correctly his whole career is not an issue
September 9th, 2015 at 1:01 PM ^
There is now the official spelling of all "there" words. We're, were and where are fine as they all have a differance phonetically, as are Then and Than. To is now official for to and too, two will remain as it is a number. All in favor?
September 9th, 2015 at 1:09 PM ^
I have it on good authority that there are some places outside of the Midwest that think Mary, merry and marry are pronounced differently. So you never know. No?
September 9th, 2015 at 1:25 PM ^
No, we do no. There are no people that we go to for these opinions outside of our own community. There the ones that have it wrong, not us! I prefer a single word to represent all of them, instead of this that or the other. There going about trying to make us look meek and unable to stand on our own. We're on our own out there, in the big world! There the ones with the problem, not us! We can do it... all night long!! There, I'm finished.
Also, it's "difference" not "differance"
Go Blue!
September 9th, 2015 at 1:34 PM ^
Also, Pop. Not Soda. Idiots.
September 9th, 2015 at 2:44 PM ^
It's and Its needs to be on there.
September 9th, 2015 at 3:59 PM ^
I nominate this for new site banner.
September 9th, 2015 at 7:00 PM ^
Not enough enthusiasm.
September 9th, 2015 at 11:27 AM ^
Add this to the list of "coach things that most coaches do".
September 9th, 2015 at 11:30 AM ^
It doesn't seem like hoke did this in front of the whole offensive / defensive group; rather just the smaller units
September 9th, 2015 at 11:34 AM ^
I always imagined in my head that during film sessions with Hoke, if someone screwed up on film, Hoke would call them to the front and hug them.
September 9th, 2015 at 11:37 AM ^
Then kiss a ring on Brandon's right hand.
September 9th, 2015 at 6:11 PM ^
that would be kissed.
September 9th, 2015 at 11:39 AM ^
Don't forget the clapping as they made their way to the front.
September 9th, 2015 at 11:41 AM ^
"It's okay. You'll get 'em next time Slugger."
September 9th, 2015 at 1:05 PM ^
No sprinkles, Sprinkles are for winners.
September 9th, 2015 at 2:03 PM ^
"You all played a great game. Trophies for everyone!"
September 9th, 2015 at 2:23 PM ^
Hoke: "Heck of a job Brownie..."
September 9th, 2015 at 6:45 PM ^
No politics and all that, but Harbaugh is much more likely to have voted for Brownie's boss than Hoke. He's a Bo guy, Hoke is a Lloyd guy, politically.
September 9th, 2015 at 11:36 AM ^
I am sure that Hoke did a lot of this in front of all the players....
September 9th, 2015 at 12:15 PM ^
Pretty sure FoxSports panned to Harbaugh clapping after the pick six. Like the guy said above, "coach things that most coaches do".
September 9th, 2015 at 12:31 PM ^
Not to mention a lot of people gave Hoke a lot of credit for being "stoic" and "unflappable" for doing that exact same thing in 2011.
Some things matter more than others. Hoke didn't win or lose because he clapped. He lost because he wasn't a good teacher of football except on the DL, and neither were most of his assistants, particularly in important spots like the OL.
September 9th, 2015 at 12:37 PM ^
Don't say that. You're contradicting our fairy tale world where everything Harbaugh does is perfectly effective and everything Hoke does is perfectly ineffective.
September 9th, 2015 at 12:43 PM ^
Where can I inquire about roster weight changes?
September 9th, 2015 at 3:38 PM ^
I know a guy.
September 9th, 2015 at 12:59 PM ^
Well, the latter of these is pretty true.
September 9th, 2015 at 1:00 PM ^
Harbaugh's arm around Rudock moment after the pick six was very reminiscent of Hoke's Hagerup after fumbling the snap pep talk. But one guy is a pushover that coddles his players and the other is the disciplinarian who preaches accountability.
September 9th, 2015 at 1:28 PM ^
during a game so they're not demoralized, and holding them accountable in the [semi] privacy of the practices and film review, in front of their teammates and competitors. Support vs. teaching moments.
There's another very good Mlive article and interview with De'Veon Smith, being able to take criticism, recognizing and facing your errors and fighting to keep the #1 spot. (And while he's working on improving his vision, add him to the Smart Man/Good Voice Team.)
September 9th, 2015 at 1:50 PM ^
"... holding them accountable in the [semi] privacy of the practices and film review, in front of their teammates..."
And you know Hoke didn't do this how, exactly?
September 9th, 2015 at 3:17 PM ^
Results.
September 9th, 2015 at 3:21 PM ^
Just adding to what you were saying, and post the link to the related article.
We saw both Hoke and Harbaugh supporting their players in the midst of games. We can only guess at what goes on behind the scenes, except for these little reports. [And these reports weren't comparing one coach to the other.]
September 9th, 2015 at 12:27 PM ^
So here are two descriptions from BLL. One is of our previous football coach screaming, the other is our current football coach screaming. Try to guess which is which:
[He] pulled out one of his favorite stunts, where he runs in from the back of the team meeting room, screaming and smiling. "Don't you just love this fucking game?!?" Everyone laughed.
When he starts his speech he morphs into this person I've never seen before! He's yelling and screaming. What is he doing?
September 9th, 2015 at 12:52 PM ^
The second quote is from Harbaugh's wife. Not exactly apples to apples
