It's fake. Just checked Harbaugh's twitter.
That is fake.
It's fake. Cowherd does not have 4.3 speed, do not want.

I guess I'm in the minority here, but I did not think that was at all bad on Harbaugh's part...It was going perfectly fine until Cowherd started yelling at him! Weird.
irritated and impatient very quickly. The interview seemed to change on a dime. I am not sure what exactly clicked, but things got freaky fast.

Cowherd never gets another interview with Harbaugh or his staff for as long as Harbaugh is our coach?
I don't understand why he gave him an interview in the first place. Cowherd is a turd.
Coach agrees to a do over with Cowherd.
I read this on the Big Lead and completely agree "No one outside the media cares how cooperative coaches/players are with the media."
To Harbaugh last night at the Tigers game giving an interview, and then watch this today. Draw your own conclusions from there.
Im listening now and through mintue 4 it just seems like Colin has had a lot of coffee and Jim is going full on "NFL post game" mode.
Colin got pissed at minute 5 because Harbaugh didnt get one of his questions about how the B1G is a "buy" and Harbaugh thought he said "bye" and Harbaugh was like "what? explain that to me."
It went downhill quickly from there. Basically it was a poor interview but the first 4 minutes were not out of character for Harbaugh really.
I found it pretty hilarious. Total opposite of coach-speak. What happens is guys like CC are used to coaches who just want to go off at the slightest provocation so they show up with nothing really to say themselves. It was just a bunch of superficial, lame questions that got the answers they deserved.
Harbaugh is like Popovich. You dont ask Pop dumb questions. I would hope you bring a little more to an interview with a smart guy like Pop or Harbaugh for your own sake as a reporter. It was prety classic Jim Harbaugh.
Best line of the interview "Colin what can I do to make this interview go better for you?"
I love our coach.
What is that?
What is that ? What is that for?
I'm talking to you.
Funk.
If you ask Harbaugh "When are you a pushover?" you're not going to have a good time.
"What part of the day are you the least intense?"
"What's the first thing you changed at Michigan?"
"I'm a 4-star receiver, sell me on Michigan."
Pathetic questions. I agree with Baumgardner.

I listend to the interview. I don't terribly like Cowherd; I think some of what Harbaugh gave him came from the questions, which I thought were dumb. I have heard a couple of interviews with Harbaugh since he got here and they were informative and fun
After listening, I agree that his responses weren't great, but I put the vast majority of the blame for the interview awkwardness on Cowherd when he decided to call Jim out and then essentially hang up on him at the end. Maybe a missed opportunity by Jim to sell the program, but if you think he didn't go into that interview with that specific goal/strategy, then you're not paying attention.
And as far as what recruits will think--I hope they do listen to it and don't just read all of the reactions on Twitter and everywhere else. The actual interview isn't nearly as bad as people are saying, and recruits (as much as they care about a talk radio show on at 10am on a summer day) should form their own opinion--I'm confident it won't be as bad as others'.
Cowherd seemed to instigate the awkwardness there. However, that was after Jimmy gave several uninspiring and brief responses to the open ended questions that Cowherd was using to incite elaboration.
Maybe I'm not paying attention, but it did not seem like Harbaugh was prepared at all to take this interview. Jim seemed aloof and uninterested on national radio. His enthusiasm was lacking. What strategy did I overlook?

Cowherd ending the interview like that was so rude.
to help get it on track..."what can I do to help this..." Cowherd closed the door after that when he should have reset and had some fun.
I don't know if its just me, but it wasn't too bad until the end. As Michigan fans know, Harbaugh is intense all the time, always focused. Colin pissed him off at the start by not even greeting him, then asked him at what point in the day is he "soft" or a "cupcake", then confused him with the Buy/Bye question which you can tell Jim felt challenged. He asked crappy, uninteresting questions and got short uninteresting answers. Jim was definitely trolling him at the end Colin realized it, hung up on him, and started bashing. He continued for the next hour of his show.
Harbaugh has a presence; that doesn't mean he expounds well.
He is a winner, not a salesman.
All is well.
Cowherd is seriously dwelling on the interview. He sounds like a scorned woman that just got dumped. It's like he's trying to convince himself that he's still a good host. He's going on and on about it, asking everybody else he talks to today if they've had a bad interview. You can picture him as a recently dumped teenage girl asking her friends, "am I still pretty? It not me, it's him, right?"
So maybe I don't care what he thinks.
We are going to win so many football games the next five years that this interview will be so irrelevant. Hell, we might not ever lose a football game again with this guy.
the season cannot get here soon enough.
Fuck Cowherd - that annoying rat bastard
Reading these comments I got the notion that Harbaugh was somewhat at fault. But listening to the interivew I didnt get that at all. This was all on Cowherd. It seemed like at some point he preemptivley decided the interivew was a bust. But it felt premature, and then he backhandedly blamed it on Harbaugh.
In no way will this affect any recruits - that notion is really, really silly. But in no way will Harbaugh ever grant Cowherd another interiview.
.....the Marshawn Lynch of coaching!
Harbaugh is about football. Cowherd is about promoting a product-- most notably himself.
I read the comments and reaction before listening and like others expected to hear Harbuagh tanking the interview... he didn't. Harbuagh was not very engaging but I would not characterize him as aloof-- he actually did the work to clarify the the question about bye vs. buy. The interview was shut down when Jim asked what he could do to make the interview better-- I'm sure this set off Cowherd's defenses as it triggered a rant and an end to the interview with no attempt at recovery. Cowherd was trying to talk to a hype machiine and that's not Harbaugh's style. If he wanted passion, he might have considered the things that Harbuahg is passionate about.
I particularly loved Jim's response to the questions about exectations for the year... to be better today than we were yesterday and better tomorrow than we are today.

Great! You will certainly represent the Michigan fans as classy folks!
CC got rattled when he realized he didn't have the upper hand and couldn't control Harbaugh.
