I've seen a few of these come across Twitter via retweets today - very awesome to see Jim go right to work here. Like others, I was a little worried about the 2015 class, and even if it is going to be small regardless, I find myself much less worried now.
I actually have some renewed optimism as we start slowly sliding towards NSD now.

Not sure if Harbaugh considers him a RB or WR...I think he fills a need for a Speed RB and Slot WR. Weber the traditional Michigan RB.

Friends with Malzone, local wr/rb/db offered by Hoke late in the summer, or perhaps early in the fall, high 3 star, Hoke wanted him as a db I think.

This is analogous to the Ohio State situation in 2011 (class of 2012 recruiting) when Meyer came in and put a pretty good class together on short notice. Meyer had a month longer to recruit (hired in November) than JH has but I'm confident this class will be strong, albeit smallish.

scandal breaking. He poached several of PSU's top recruits. He also got some easy flips of Ohio kids. Hopefully we'll get Weber, but Harbaugh's recruiting job looks tougher.

Not to mention Meyer and his entire staff were allowed to focus on recruiting while the previous staff prepared OSU for their bowl game. Seemed like an unfair advantage, but with the NCAA I can't say I'm surprised.

We've got Malzone this year and Messiah deWeaver for next. Some (Magnus) has suggested we take 2 QBs next year (I'd agree), so that would be someone along with deWeaver.
If not, we might have to wait for that fantasy.

The deWeaver commit is hardly set in stone either. He committed to Nuss when Michigan was his only big offer. He's since been offered by Sparty and Penn St. and visited Sparty. An OSU offer may come too. He definitely resembles Kapernick though, will be interesting to see what type of QB Harbaugh is looking for.

I understand that 2016 is a year away, but at the same time, deWeaver is firmly in the corner of Michigan right now - at least in his mind.
So Harbaugh can pull the offer, no question, but as of right now...he's committed and he reaffirmed his commitment this week.

...but he's solid, or at least he thinks he is.
He's recruiting players to Michigan and he's been 100% Team 137 ever since the Harbaugh rumors started around Christmas Day.
That's him and Tyree Kinnel, Kinnel also reaffirmed his pledge before the announcement was official and he's now 100% (they both are). They reaffirmed their commitments along with Brian Cole, then the two of them went to go play basketball together, lol.
Also Harbaugh has already spoken to 2016 players. Erik Swenson and Dele Harding are both excited about Michigan. So I get that anything can happen, but right now, they're Michigan commits.
