I don't know why I'm not more optimistic about the game. I think this season I have had a hangover of hoke era pessimism & therefore believe we will lose to even the most average of teams. I thought BYU / NW / MSU / and PSU would all beat us. Even as we got better as the season went along I expected to lose at the end of the IU & Minnesota games. I don't know why I have the constant pessimism still.

I hate Ohio so much that watching "the game" has become so difficult for me that I don't even enjoy it anymore. Most years under RR & Hoke I would not watch & dvr the game & only watch if we won or played well.

This year I am so nervous and this blogs optimism actually makes me more pessimistic about the outcome, bc I feel like we're cursed or that we can't have nice things. I have faith in Harbaugh and this staff, but the second I read the news about Durkin I immediately felt as if we would lose bc his timing couldn't have been worse.

I am in need of this pos-bang as well as some encouraging words as to why this year will be different. I want to enjoy the game again instead of hating it.

The last 10 years have been so bad that a win hasn't even entered my mind as a possibility. I hate how fickle Ohio fans are, flipping out over a coach who has 4 losses in 4 years and a NC. I wish for that kind of success for our football program.

Please, Michigan, beat those cheating, cocky, cock suckers so that I may have my optimism about this program back again.

I started the season with that pessimism but it has slowly vanished. In the IU game when IU scored late My wife was convinced that we had lost. I said "no, we're going to come back and tie this thing." I remember thinking as I spoke those words that this attitude would have been unheard of a year ago.
