Happy Fathers Day and a Controversial Harbaugh Tweet /s
Happy fathers day to all!
Happy Father's Day to the four Best Fathers I know - Jack Harbaugh, Merle Feuerborn, John Harbaugh and Tom Crean! pic.twitter.com/wR1DTcIxQG

The guy is family to Harbaugh, let it be
I know it was supposed to be tounge in cheek, but given the true venom for Crean around these parts I should have realized that people may have taken me seriously.
Nine downvotes? People need to lighten up.
Sorry,
Deleted my post ........................ too similar to the one below only rephrased.
To be fair, it's possible to be a horrible basketball coach and a good father at the same time.
No! We don't like him so he must be a horrible coach, an abusive/neglectful father and has a tiny penis!
Or a Mangina like Brennan....
Happy Father's Day!
A+ work.
Thanks, I'll see myself out....
This is definitely the case. He actually seems to be a great dad. Though I think he's a terrible basketball coach and I don't like him on the court.
Happy Father's Day!!
This is so awesome!
This is about familial relationships. "Controversial" is an odd descriptor. I get it that you are trying to make a joke, but I just dont get what it is.
Totally agree with this... I mean c'mon
Indeed, omitting Crean would be "controversial".
Crean is deeply part of the MSU family, too. I want to publicly thank Indiana for hiring him. Lots of talk Crean would some day follow Izzo. Nightmare avoided.
I would have been totally fine with that Sparty nightmare.
What is the succession plan at MSU, anyway? A current assistant or one of the other ex-assistants who's become a head guy?
Dantonio will take over basketball
MSU has no succession plans. I'm not impressed with their assistants--good assistants, not head coaching material, and I'm not sure some young "hot" coach is the way to go. Too many MSU fans think things will just keep rolling once Izzo retires. I don't see it happening. MSU caught lightning a bottle with Izzo--it won't happen twice in a row.
In law people, chill out
But guys who spend that much time at work aren't good fathers.
If guys claim to be family first, then they can't spend 80+ hours per week at work away from family.
But my work calls for over 70 hours a week regularly (yeah, I need a new job) but I don't think I'm a bad dad, I just have to pay the bills. At the very least, at least we are teaching strong work ethic by example.
you are teacing neglect and servitude to the almighty dollar.
jdon
I would give any father a run for their money in this or any group and I work at least 60 hours a week. It is possible be extremely successful at both.
and EVERY family situation is different.
My father worked / travel a lot to provide a comfy life to our family.
I would have preffered him to be around more. . .
Because of this I chose to limit my career opportunities and sacrifice some traditional "standard of living" for some "quality of life" instead.
We'll see how it works.
Dude, you sound like a real dick.
Apparently some people believe that 8 hours of sleep is mandatory and a work day starts after 8 AM. I work at least 70 hours a week. I however never work between 5 PM and 10 PM and always take Sunday's off. Am I a bad father because I sacrifice sleep to make sure I have time for my children.
Yeah, this guy sounds like a terrible father.
/s
Happy Father's Day
I'm assuming you could pay the bills by working less than 70 hours.
Also, "not good" doesn't necessarily mean "bad."
Moreover, talk to any kids of these coaching dads and they all say "dad was never around." I don't know how a dad could be considered good if he's not around.
Please take it to the holier than thou board.
Thanks for your words of wisdom, you seem like a really great guy.
Happy Father's Day to all the MGoDads on the site and indeed dads in general.
As for the tweet, eh, as much as I can't stand Tom Crean and his habitual net theft, I wouldn't wish him anything less but the best on Father's Day.
As someone who has experienced both sides of the spectrum with my sister. One guy could build you a beautiful patio bbq in a day (master bricklayer) but was a pos person and the other has a hard time holding down a job but is a great stepdad to my niece and nephew. I will take the latter all day every day.
Because we don't question family.
Jim's relationship with Tom is probably very different than how we view him.
For my part, I don't mind JH's tweet. I want to see what Addie made him for Fathers' Day.

Speight with the shot from Pebble Beach.
My heart still aches at the tragedy of David Dawson's dad a few years ago. I hope he finds peace and support from the M family.
Same here. I remember when that happened. I wish David the best as he remembers his father today.
happy father's day.
Slainté
I got that from wiki. I knew slainte was a toast to health but did not know proper response.
The same way we give you one with the Blackhawks head as your profile pic!
Happy Fathers Day!
I signed on to upvote the OP and was surprised to see so many downvotes. I'm sorry, but it's joke. If you can't see that. I chuckled. Don't get discouraged about being a wise ass, OP.
