I would accept Coach Harbaugh's kind offer.  Who am I to stand in the way of greatness?

So.....if there is an announcement by Hackett today that there is a signed contract in his pocket from his trip out west, then festivities/Festivus/Harbaughmas will commence TONIGHT!!!!!  Otherwise, I am expecting for the Ashley's Spectacular 2014 to happen next Tuesday.  Ahh, whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer/be hungover for Christmas Eve or have to drink ourselves out of it to celebrate New Year's Eve?  That is the question Coach Harbaugh that you must answer.

 

In case anyone missed it,I posted this on Dec 14th

"On the first Tuesday following 100% certainty that he is our coach ( i.e. Jim Harbaugh utters the words "I am going to be the next coach at the University of Michigan" or anything close to that), I will buy the first 100 pints of beer at Ashley's in Ann Arbor. I work until 6:00 P.M. And probably will not be able to get there until 8. But beers are on me. To qualify for FREE BEER all you need to do is wear a Michigan hat. If the announcement comes on a Tuesday, it will need to happen before 5:00 that day so that I may notify Mrs. UofMDDS96 and make it up there. If it is after 5:00, then it will be the next Tuesday. Tuesday because Iam off on Wednesday. All rght. Let's make this happen. HARBAUGH!!"

I will accept Hacket saying the contract is signed.  Godspeed my friends.

It happens to be my birthday today too (although I've got five years on him!).  Here's hoping I get my birthday wish....Jim Harbaugh as our new football coach!

i mean look at the dude, if he doesn't scream goal-line and short yardage then who does?  talk about teaching a 'submarine' technique, he could come up from 200' below the surface to cut out the opposing O-line's legs!

This is the day Jim signs his Michigan contract, then does a video conference with the team at 5 PM EST to announce he will be their next coach. Jim will be in Ann Arbor next Monday for his presser! Happy Birthday Jim!

One more thing - I pray to God Jim Harbaugh doesn't read this blog. Aside from sending out Birthday wishes to him, the general amount of attention paid to him the past few weeks would make any man uncomfortable.

but JH doesn't drink anymore I don't think, I heard he has been sober for quite a while now, I heard this through the grapevine out here, BTW.

But anyway, Happy Birthday Jim, can't wait to have you on the sidelines in Ann Arbaugh!!!
