Hanging w/ Erin Andrews

Submitted by Mr. Yost on

For those that haven't seen these pictures...Michigan's current QB and it's future got to hangout with EA for a little bit at the Michigan/Ohio basketball game.

(oddly enough, that's JJ Sullinger --- Jared's older brother in the background)

(Imagine being an 11th grader...I'm pretty sure the conversation goes something like this...

De LaSalle Student: "Hey Shane, where were you this weekend bro!? We went over to Tommy's house and played Halo 3 and NCAA '12 for 20 straight hours. It was SO EPIC! Tommy's mom even bought us our own pizzas!"

Shane Morris: "Damn man, that's awesome...I was up in Ann Arbor, got a few guys to commit to play there with me. Went to the game. Oh, and I got to meet Erin Andrews so I guess that was cool. But nothing too major...who won in Halo?")

Additional Note: I'm no Twitter stalker (even though that's where the picture of Shane and EA is from), in fact, I don't even have an account...however, I was reading on another board that the commits are all chatting it up pretty good about how they can't wait to play for Michigan. Sounds like they're having fun with each other, bonding, talking about the c/o and Team 134 and just enjoying being a part of the Michigan family.

Some of you "lurkers" may want to check it out. The stuff I read on another forum was pretty funny. Also how they all connect with one and other and get along so well was pretty cool.

While I think stalking people you don't know...even if you're of the same age is creepy. I think it's pretty damn cool our 11 commits are already a team. I truly enjoyed watching Team 132 become a team this year. Martin, Molk, RVB, Koger...all of them. It was special, and to know this is the beginning and there is more to come is awesome.

if kids are going to post their conversations, thoughts and views in a public forum like Twitter and Facebook there's nothing creepy about reading that. If you want to keep those things private, text messaging and email are your friends. This is the new world reality. Twitter and Facebook pages are tantamount to a personal website. You wouldn't call someone creepy because they used a website to get useful information about a company's CEO would you? That happens in business everyday.

Twitter and Facebook pages are tantamount to a personal website.

Exactly ... Twitter in particular is by design meant to allow people to express themselves for anyone to see.  For a lot of younger folks nowadays it's all about laying it out there for as many people as possible to see, read and comment upon.

Can't say I understand it ... can't say it's something I'm into ... but I can't deny the reality of it.

i noticed denard and the other fball players were all next to the OSU fan section, including sullinger's whole family and some other parents it looked like.

You can tell that Shane is a legit 6-3, while Denard is probally an even 6. Remeber reading somewhere that andrews is 5-10. With that being said I hope Robinson is able to be a pro QB one day and shock everyone ala Jeremy Lin. Just such a good kid wish him nothing but the best.

Denard is pretty close to 6'0 exactly, from what I've seen of him in street clothes (which has only been twice, but once was fairly close), although he might be on the high end of 5'11. When I had my vitals taken at MEPS, I was 6' exactly and he might be just a hair shorter than I am, but not by much at all.

Just as an added, non creepy (just like the OP I guess) comment, look how damn big Denard is next to Erin Andrews. His head is probably twice the size of hers and he's about twice as wide as her. Denard is not a small guy at all.

With all the hype Denard gets(deservedly) he gets his picture with EA. He should he is the man at this school and is natural leader for the school, not just the football team.

Shane is getting hype as an 11th grader. EA came to get a picture with Shane.

Notice the deference. She looks like a big fan there.

Halo. Pizza. Just add a couple hours of either football, basketball, or soccer and  potentially some poker and that sounds like my saturday nights in highschool. When you put it like that...aw.

Anyone who thinks that reading someone's twitter is stalking, has no idea what twitter is. Twitter might as well be one giant public forum for people to chat with eachother. If your account is public, it's because you WANT people looking at it.

Morris looks like someone and I couldnt figure it out until I saw that pic above...he looks alot like a young Hugh Jackman... good thing Jackman plays a character named Wolverine.

and that is all the Hugh Jackman that I want to see for a few months...
