Handicap tickets for UCONN game?

Submitted by Jstillz on

Does anyone know how to access handicap tickets? My friend was involved in an accident last year and can no longer use his legs. However, I would still like to take him to the game if possible.  Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.

I realize the above answer seems kind of obvious, but really, that is the best way to do it.  After the ADA lawsuit and all that, I would bet they will make it happen.  If I remember correctly, they sent out emails close to the start of the season last year saying that handicap full season tickets were available.

On another, less reliable thought, just buy a regular ticket and go to the game and they will probably make it work (get there early obviously).  A year or two ago my dad had knee surgery and couldn't sit in our regular seats.  They sell the handicap tickets to regular people after some point in time with the knowledge they will have to move if a handicap person shows up.  Anyway, my parents went to the game and got to sit in the handicap section and a guy and his kid (about 7) got to move down to our regular seats on the 40.  Needless to say, everyone won.
