Hail to the PLAYERS!

Congratulations to this group of young men who have overcome so much (in football terms at the least), and never quit!  I am thrilled for them, they deserve it!

Tate came in really clutch.  But I jsut want to know the status of Denard.  Other than that...

I'm really proud of our team and coaches. There were so many times when it felt like last year (if not last years game against Illinois), like the team was collapsing, like sloppiness and poor decision making were going to doom all of their strides once again. But they never gave up. Even with Denard out, and Tate fumbling his first play, the offense never gave up. Even after failing to diagnose a misdirection play for the third time, the defense never gave up. The team played their hearts out through three overtimes and it showed. They deserve this win more than any team I can remember. I'm proud that we got to share it with them too.

when Tate came in I was like:

"I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced."

And at the end I was like:

“These blast points — too accurate for sandpeople. Only imperial stormtroopers are so precise.”

Such a great game.

Mike Martin- what a beast still playing and contributing even though he's obviously limited. Courtney Avery- making up for JT and then some. Tate stepping up and giving us what we need. Wide receivers- making it happen when it counted. ROY ROUNDTREE OH MY GOD. HURRAY EVERYONE PARTY TIME.

Maybe (though I doubt it) this gives the RichRod haters a couple days off. I have never respected a group of Michigan players more for their perseverence in difficult circumstances. They could have given that game up...

Those who stay.

I'll take it, too.  I'm not concerned about the RichRod haters.  I've given up trying to reason with people who believe that Lloyd would have gone 9-3 with the '08 team (and that only poor coaching kept the '09 and '10 draft numbers low).  No -- it's the moderates that interest me.

Great win for the team.  Right now, it doesn't matter that there were 65 points given up.  All that matters is that they stopped those 2 at the end.  Everyone left their hearts on the field, and I love them for it.  Congrats, enjoy it, you guys definitely deserved to get a win.

He was put into a very similar situation to the one he faced against Iowa a couple of weeks ago, but this time he made an exceptional open field tackle to kill a drive. He also made a tremendous play later in the game, fighting off a blocker to make a nice tackle. Great job Courtney, way to bounce back.

I did all my chores for the last 3 days, I stood up at just the right times, and cheered and shouted words of encouragement to the TV at just the right times.  I'm sure you guys did too, and with all that karma, we won!  Oh yeah, and the players were awesome too!!

GO BLUE!!!!!

Of course we're all exstatic that we are making a bowl game. Whheewww. But I'm at work and everyone is wondering why I am so happy just because we made a bowl game. That sucks cause we've stooped to that level. But this it, another streak started. Go Blue! Fuck these suckeye fans!

The UFR's for this game will take him forever!

Kudos to Avery, I thought he covered better than Floyd.

Cam Gordon at spur > Cam Gordon at FS

Roh at DE >> Roh at LB

Obi still sucks!

Fun game and many more heroes and goats, but I'm ready to celebrate a bit more.

Go Blue!
