Hail!

Submitted by trueblue262 on

I couldn't think of anything better for a title. But, we lost out on Dee Hart today. Boo frickin' hoo! We have Justice Hayes, and a good shot at some others. But more importantly we have a good RB crew that is currently on the Michigan Football roster, and they are ALL IN. Dee Hart would have been a good addition but he had doubts about Michigan for whatever reason.

So lets move forward with our Michigan Men and support them the way we should.

Today, Dee Hart officially becomes a different sort of target for Michigan. One that we will take aim at in Sept of 2012. We want guys to HAIL........not guys that BAIL! Go Blue!

I would hope we don't need any motivation when we play Alabama, but if he doesn't change his mind 2 or 3 more times, imagine the incentive for our backs.

I generally don't cry over lost recruits.  I actually think its counterproductive for the fanbase and the recruits to worship these kids before they even play a down of football for UM.  Yes, I realize recruiting is important, I'm just saying people need to relax.

Love the kid and his stats...but we need to remember that we have a good stable of running backs already and some not yet here that are still committed to Michigan.  They are still all in and Dee Hart is only one man.  Would have loved to see him in maize and blue, but life goes on.

I don't cry over recruits either, not Dee, not Graves, not Jones and I won't cry over Frost or Zettle, but I will get pretty mad about the people who should know better that are causing these kids to want no part of UM.  That is the truly sad part. And we will all pay in a couple years when our depth is again causing us problems.

If he decommits he becomes somebody on a very tough team we will be playing in a few years.  Wish him the best if he does, would love for him to be here, but he's a kid.  The NCAA needs to do something about these verbal commits because to me they mean absolutely nothing until they sign the LOI.  You see kids switching all the time now, just like you/me switch my mind on stuff all the time, it happens, give the kid a break and let him make the decision for his future as he sees fit.

I'm not going to be one of those "YESTERDAY I LOVED HIM BECAUSE HE'S AWESOME, TODAY I HATE HIM AND WE NEVER WANTED HIM ANYWAY."

Wanted the kid, and he slipped away.  I'm still thrilled to have Justice, and am certainly not discounting anyone currently on the roster.  But I'm certainly not going to lie and say I'm not disappointed about this either-- you think the coaching staff doesn't care this morning?

The last time there was a thread with this title, I fapped myself to Bolivian. Not the same content, but good thread (ir)regardless. I feel the same way.
