Greg Robinson

Now that the season is over, let's not overlook his total epic fail and endless coaching incompetence.

No stuffed animal can save him now.

I look forward to the day that he's running someone else's program into the ground.

It's been tough and frustrating, but you're a part of the Michigan football story - you know, the chapter that everyone skims and our children's children may not believe.

Best of luck wherever you end up.

He was set up to fail.  He was brought in based on his experience and success building championship defenses, but he was handcuffed with a staff he didn't pick and a scheme he was unfamiliar with.  How can a man succeed under those circumstances.

Unfortunately for GERG and RR, both men of class and integrity, they put themselves in a position where they would almost certainly fail.  You can't make it thru the B1G schedule with 5-6" running backs and 185 lb QBs, not mention 260-280 D lineman.    All that combined with poor defensive schemes and terrible fundamentals on the defensive side of the ball, it will be tough sledding.

When the defense does not know where to line up and blows assignments that is the defensive coordinator's fault. No matter what the scheme. If they do not tackle well, DC's fault. Been a coach for a long time. I was told in the beginning, "either you allow your kids to make mistakes or you coach them that way." All I've heard is excuses. I don't want to hear about the labor, just show me the baby.

2008:  Greg Robinson, Syracuse 3-9, #108 defense in the nation

2010: 8-5, #5 defense in the nation.  And this:

I've spent six years watching Greggers run Syracuse and now Michigan into the ground.  I can't wait to watch him crater someone else for a change.
