Maybe we can see him in some preseason games with fairley being out.

the lions do well this year. Last year I won my fantasy league with stanton as my starting QB after stafford went down. I'm a redskins fan in my heart, but you guys and your constant updates about the Lions might sway me a little bit.
very good college liinebacker. Questionable pro potential as starter.
He's a defensive end, so I'm not sure how that affects your analysis.

The fact he played end kept us from seeing how good a linebacker he was?
Gabe Watson was signed by the Giants, joining David Baas and the "veteran" Giant Mario Manningham. Unfortunately, James Rogers was already cut by the Broncos and Carlos Brown was cut by the Jets.
