"The face of the operation is Briatore (referred to exclusively in the film by his colleagues and angry, chanting detractors as "Flavio"), an anthropomorphic radish who spends most of his time at QPR plotting to fire all of the managers."
greatest underdogs in college football history?
with capital letter and paragraphs too!
too hell with caps lock!!! or shift!!! fuckem!!!
And yet you were able to convert nine 1s into !s. Color me impressed.
Dont forget the ones in the original post
ILL JUST TYPE IN ALL CAPS FROM HERE ON OUT! FUCK OHIO STATE!
They could have been copied and pasted from Bo Pelini's mind without using a shift key or a 1.
College, HS, Pro, backyard, anything:
At least the Defense made half time adjustments.
Or third string was put in. Poor Cumberland
Apparently Coach Heisman ran up the score... bitter about a controversial baseball game vs the same team.
The officials shortened the game. The third quarter was only ten minutes, and the fourth was seven-and-a-half. And no, I wasn't there-- I'm trying to recall what I've read about that game.
Michigan's D vs. Wisconsin... to answer your question.
im talking a team able to overcome and win!
And count me in the blissfully foolish camp that believes we will win on Saturday. Give 'em hell, boys. GO BLUE!
Haha damn, beat me to it
Greater mismatch than Michigan D vs OSU O? Umm Michigan D vs Wisconsin O.
looking for an underdog that won! with mostly freshman and walk ons!
how you keep adding to the requirements to keep this thing going. will the next requirement be "domiciled in Southeast Michigan"?
Do not onside kick every time. If we don't get it they get good starting field position every time. They would also be expecting it if we do it every time and would put the hands team out on the field.
kind of the point i want to make! We need to kick it onside and man for man fight for it. I m tired of long drawn out drives where there atheletes impose there will all the while they run out the clock and denard sits on the sideline. \
WE NEED TO TAKE CHANCES!
I don't think it matters where OSU will get the ball at, our defense is incapable of stopping anyone.
is that Michigan has a better chance of recovering an onside kick that they do of stopping Ohio State's offense. I'm pretty sure it was sarcasm, but there's a kernel of truth to it. One could even argue that's what Rodriguez was feeling when he pulled the trigger on that first (surprise) onside kick against Wisconsin.
SCLSU Mud Dogs
Funny...I don't remember wearing that hat.
Biggest upset by point spread I believe is Stanford over USC in 2007 which was like 29.
First game I think of when I think of massive upset (after the Horror) is 2007 Stanford/USC when Stanford was a 41 point underdog. Final team rankings for 2007 season were:
Total Offense USC: 29th
Total Defense Stanford: 107th
Total Defense USC: 2nd
Total Offense Stanford: 98th
Also: "Stanford's starting quarterback, T. C. Ostrander, had suffered a seizure the previous week; the backup quarterback, Tavita Pritchard had never started a game and had only ever thrown three passes." (via Wikipedia)
what i was looking for. And this may be the closet we can get for comparisons sake. i wonder how many upperclassman were starting?
you're telling me there's a chance?
may have been more talented than this stanford team. i dont think usc had shown up at all. if only ohio state sleep walks into this we can really surprise them.
Michigan's O in 2008 vs Toledo
I started laughing.
Then I started whimpering.
Then I got quiet.
Never punt and don't kick field goals. As a matter of fact we should go for 2 every damn time!
SHIT I THINK WE HAVE A PLAN!
go for 3 dammit!
Am I the only thinking that Tressel might be the link that gets us a win as well? Granted our D has to stop them at least 4-5 times, but he always plays his infamous "tressel ball" which will keep the score low. If our offense clicks like it has and we play mistake, turnover free football I def think we have a chance.
Unforunately, he plays Tressel Ball beacause he can. If he needs to unleash hell, he can.
Uconn just beat MSU in basketball! 70-67
I'm gonna get negged to hell and back... but Appalachian State.
Such is the burden we bear as Michigan fans...
Correct me if I'm wrong but isnt the JMU upset over Va Tech a bigger upset since JMU hasnt won 2 or 3 national championships in 1-A football recently or this year for that matter ( dont really know how many ASU has won, but they know they have won some)
JMU isn't a multiple 1-A champion, but Va Tech isn't the winningest program in college football history...
OK, by kicking two FGs, Wiscy left a whole 8 out of 84 points on the field vs IU in their twelve drives. (They got to 83 with the aid of one pick-six).
That's unheard of.
Tell me, which side looks like our defense and which side looks like osu's offense?
Tell me who won that.
Hey, the Shoe is kinda shaped like the fortified valley that the Helm's Deep fortress was built in...
Wait, does this mean Denard is gonna grind down Boren helmet or something like Legolas? Cause that would be wicker sweet.
Its not like their offense is some amazing thing.....
