I live in the Cleveland area and used to work out at the Twinsburg rec center. I usually wear Michigan stuff when I do which leads, predictably, to lots of teasing from the Ohio people. Years ago I walked by a kid (a huge kid I might add) who said "Go Blue" and started singing the Victors. I figured a punchline was coming so I asked why the sing? He said "I'm going to play football there next year." I asked him what position figuring it had to be the line and he said "punter" and we talked for a while about the campus. He's a real, real nice PERSON and the biggest damn punter I've ever seen!

New Zoltan t-shirt is full of win:

“I don’t normally punt, but when I do, I prefer Zoltan Mesko.’’

If anyone can find this online please post a link.  Thx.

I've read better-written stories about Zoltan; I was grateful that someone (in comments) provided a better-explained story about the Lamarr thing.   But I'll take all the content on him I can get--it is so easy to celebrate his success and I hope his career is a long one.

I remember being really surprised late one weekend night to find Zoltan in the grocery story buying milk.  This story helps explain why this is normal Mesko behavior.  LOL

First special teams player to ever be named captain???  This is the first time in our 100+ year history that this has happened?  For  more than 100 years I have stood proud that we continued this tradition and now this...  RR is ruining every tradition that we hold dear.

Thanksgiving presents the perfect opportunity for me to root for Zoltan in the NFL.  I will be cheering for the Lions, but also for Zoltan to see the field as much as possible.  And I sincerely hope he punts some boomers (as long as his offense allows him to do this often).
