Mom had cancer. Went to his game. Coach gave him a goalline TD. Gave the ball to his mom. she died a month later. Still has ball... only Td ever scored by Milk.

from his only touchdown. 7th grade - coach told team to not score, so he could put David in at RB to score. When he scored, coach told him to give the ball to his mother, who was watching the game after going through 10 years battling cancer. She passed away a month after that; David wanted to put the ball in the casket, but his father kept it out as he thought David would want that reminder of his mother.

Ms. Molk sounded like a very courageous and strong woman. What took my breath away was that she was about my wife's age when she died. Good luck, David and Go Blue.
