no, YOU'RE off topic
Great article on Tom Brady's "Guru" @ Michigan
Mr. Harden was and continues to be a great asset for the athletes at U of M. He has always been extremely gracious with his time and his value to our athletic department cannot be understated. Great man.
Some of the most emotional and uplifting conversations I had while @ M was with Greg Harden. Truly one of the greatest Michigan Men
Very nice, thanks for linking it.
article. "Control the controllables" and don't worry about the rest.
"Those who are champions will stay."
That was a great read and an awsome qoute.
I've always wanted to be that guy...
I didn't read the other post of this article because I had never heard of Greg Harden and thought it was speculation on a defensive coach possibility. Reading this article, no matter who put it up first, made me wonder WHY I hadn't heard of Greg Harden.
So both of you OP'ers deserve my thanks. Would never have stumbled upon this article otherwise. What a fascinating man, hiding there behind the confidentiality-guarding doors. Hope he's brought back into the lives of the players.
This is in line with Hoke's philosophy that your goal is to win conference titles. You can control that. You, however, cannot control the BCS. Win conference titles and the NC might happen. Get Harden involved again and return our program to greatness. Go Blue!!!
I had to do a double take when I hit the part about Mr. Harden being marginalized when Lloyd left the program. How can that even happen? An unbelieveable resource; and to completely ignore it ? That seems to me to be a copmplete failure on the incoming regime to adapt to their new employer. I could be taking one incident and making a sweeping generalization that might or might not be true, but after reading Mr. Hardens story, it just seems inconceivable. I'm generally pretty good at being able to see many facets of an issue, but I just cannot wrap my head around this, at all.
I am thankful that Mr. Harden has perservered and stayed with the University, and I trust he will be allowed to continue doing what he does best for the University he loves.
/smh at marginalization
