This kind of article feels a little "rose-colored glasses"-ish about his personality; after a few years, when his abrasiveness starts wearing out his welcome - as he has at most every stop in his career - the local Powers That Be need to remember what this last 7 years has felt like. There are a lot of egos around, and egos don't seem to mix well with Harbaughs.

I hear pushing that "Habaugh will wear out his welcome / bolt to the NFL" bullshit are OSU and MSU fans, both of which are terrified of the ass beatings they're about to start receiving every fall.

Harbaugh is Michigan, and we knew exactly what we were getting when we hired him.  Yes, he's quirky and not very PC.  He's also the best football coach we could have ever hoped to hire.

"Harbaugh started the Quarterback U. legacy at Michigan. Elvis Grbac, Todd Collins, Brian Griese, John Navarre, Chad Henne and Denard Robinson continued it. Determining the guy who has a shot at joining that line is the job of the man who changed the position at Michigan."

How in the world do you not include Tom Brady in this list?

Great article. Only a Michigan QB will come up with crazy way to use a baseball to drive a car. The guy is a winner. You know what I want. I want pay back. I want OSU to be really good, but just can't beat UM for 10 years. That is what I want. I don't care if Meyer won NC. Just don't let him beat us anymore coach. That would be the ultimate prize for M. Just like the good old days of only two teams that bring the hype in B10.

I am still in shock that he is going to coach us this fall. I cannot wait. Go Blue!
