Well, I think its both.....he dislike Michigan & he wants this story to shed a light on the problem therefore causing college football to address the real issue.

In the few e-mails I exchanged with him yesterday I got the impression that he isn't a fan of UofM or MGoBlog. However, he seemed like a nice guy and was very forthcoming and open so I don't really hold it against him. Not everyone can be a fan.
In terms of his post today, I agree that he made some good points.

Yea, it was finally good to see something to this tone.
My only confusion was:
"I wouldn't worry too much though, Ann Arbor, because the fantasy I imagine—the one where U of M gets the death penalty and college sports becomes a place of goodness and hope? That won't happen. I understand the sarcasm, but is he implying he wants college football to follow the rules more closely, or does he just dislike michigan?
