Gravewalk Tonight. Meet at Burton Tower at 6pm
I went to this and can vouch, very awesome experience.
If you haven't gone, go. There's just something about signing The Victors in a cold dark and sometimes raining/ snowing cemetery in late November.
I had no idea that was tonight, I would have planned ahead but alas I'm busy. Sounds like a great thing to do in 2 years though - especially as I will be a senior about to go to my last home game. Thanks for the heads up regardless.
Now that Ohio is the Saturday after Thanksgiving the Gravewalk will always be the Tuesday before the game.
They should change it to Wednesday night so parents picking up their kids could attend as well. I'd love to go but don't want to drive to A2 tonight then back again tomorrow to pick up junior.
I wish I would have known about this earlier becuase I have a prior engagement, but this sounds awesome. Thanks for the heads up.
When did this tradition begin? I just graduated in May and regret never taking part in it.
I've visited and taken pictures of those gravesites but this sounds interesting. sadly, I have other things on my plate tonight.
someone film parts or all of this so us fans that can't make it enjoy in this tradition? I for one would love to be able to do this but living in the state down south (Ohio) I can't afford to take the 3+ hour drive for this.
I drove up here from Atlanta for The Game, and would love to show respect to these legends! Is there more information on this event?
Just go to Burton Belltower in the center of campus by 6pm and look for the group assembling. Then just follow. The guy who created it and is leading it tonight is named Jeff. You may (but don't have to) bring a flashlight
My damn GPS took me to the wrong place. So by the time I corrected everything and made it to the tower, everyone was gone.
