Got my alumni tix!
I was getting worried about my tix that I got through Alumni Association as we are only a couple of weeks away from the first game. But when I got home, sweet mother of Bo, the tix were waiting for me (both ND and Akron). Not bad considering they mailed them out last Fri, I believe.
Now I have a dilemma. Because my daughter and wife are flynig in (from Seattle) with me to the Notre Dame game, I purchased 3 tickets through general sales (the alumni would not let me get more than 2 max). My plan was just to sell the alumni tix to pay for the general sale tix. Last time I got my tix through alumni assoc., I got tix way up in the bowl (40+ I think), but this time I am on the row 9 behind the goal post. I don't think I sat this low even when I was a senior at UM.
The general sales tix are way up top in the corner.
What do I do now?

The low seats by the goal post are not that good unless they are going in to score. Forget about the rest of the time.

Good point and Unless you Sit in row A. The endzone seats get better around row 20-50. I think everyone has their own opinion. Its hard to see the entire field if you sit too low. You end up watching the game on the Big screen which is good now since they are bigger.

buyt a single at the stadium around gametime, the closest to where your alumni tickets are. Rotate the single ticket at halftime, between you and your wife.
Profit.

Why add stress to an amazing day. He's already secured three tickets and is going to profit on the other two. Don't mess with a great thing.

Speaking of getting tickets, has anyone gotten their away tickets yet? I haven't heard anything on when those would get sent out...

Well there are plenty of tickets available if you look at the spreadsheet. I myself am selling 4 (got other tickets elsewhere in the stadium) and just looking to get back what I spent on dynamic pricing.
I posted in the spreadsheet, but feel free to email if interested: [email protected]

Sorry, didn't realize this was going to be such a sensitive subject. Honestly, I just wanted some opinions on which tix to keep.
I am looking to sell my alum tix, but I don't want to do it here since I am not sure if that is Kosher with Brian. And there is really no way to do PM here (I don't want to post my email address), so I will probably just put it on Stubhub.

i think this is a fair post. Don't hate the guy b/c he got some tickets. He is asking a fair question about where to sit. and where better than on this site. He is also doing it in a non-braggingmanner,imo. Got to stop the wolverine on wolverine hate.

How does the alumni tix work? I could of sworn that I went to the local alumni website and they have a sign up in spring but they said that it didn't include the ND or OSU games. Felt it kind of defeated the point.
