As disappointing as it has been to watch at times, we will never forget the promise Henson showed in his junior year, Chris Perry's 51 carries against MSU, Navarre's Water Buffalo Stampede against Minnesota, The Braylon Game, Woodley, Graham, Watson, Taylor and Branch crushing fools, Hart's heart, The New Math, Breaston's returns, Robo Henne, beating Florida twice, Forcier beating ND, John Thompson's interception return against Wisconsin to name but a few.
But it's time to say goodbye to the old press box, Massey's midnight pizzas, pretending that 1997 wasn't a long time ago, 2-8 vs. OSU, The Clock Game, 54-51, The Horror, Rocky Top and Fight On stuck in our heads, not holding on to the damn ball and two losing seasons. The 2010s start today.
