Good update on 2018 G Jamal Bieniemy - fall official visit likely

After Beilein's visit to Katy, Texas, to check in with 2018 guard Jamal Bieniemy, it sounds like an official visit is in the works. UMHoops' Orion Sang has the update here:

Also, UMHoops posted some compiled/updated clips that give you a better picture than the random highlights from the Hudl page that I posted the other day. I love how he's constantly in attack mode with the ball. My worry for the team going forward is the lack of a multi-dimensional offensive player, someone who is a true triple threat on offense like Walton was. Good teams have someone like that on the floor at all times and I think Bieniemy would fill that gap.

Both UMHoops and mattD like the Levert comparison. I'll stick with my comparison to Detroit Country Day alum, Xavier Muskateer, and future NBA player Edmond Sumner.

Would love to see him make it in the NBA.  My daughter was in his graduating class at DCD and had nothing but good things to say about him.

Also hoping for a big season this year from his DCD basketball teammate -- Moe Ways.

We should only be recruting Top 5 players, we should know they are interested before they do, and we should have them all committed by their sophomore season.

as an undergrad. Not CU. But I had several friends at CU and I spent several football Saturdays in Boulder when EB was there. There was a fun Public Enemy-inspired Buffs t-shirt around town as I recall that played off this shirt, but all in CU colors.  Said "Public Bieniemy" and "Fear of a Black and Gold Planet."  Cool story bro, I know.

How the hell does Patrick Ewing not get a shot at the Georgetown job? The dude more than paid his dues. He deserves a head coaching job somewhere whether it's the NBA or college.

GTown would be perfect for him.
