I have no problems with actual analysis of the QB's like this. More the better. What needs to stop are these "special feelingsball" crap that the poster thinks is somehow a unique perspective, but is the same crap that everybody else has posted hundreds of times already. If you have actual breakdowns on their mechanics or stats around tendencies, let's hear them. Otherwise, just STFU.

I've no problem with this post or the subject matter.  But oh boy, has this board had its fill of this topic!

Glad you posted it.  Blizzard of snowflake posts aside, it's an important topic and a respected site.

A small Scout will need at least 2 quarts of water a day, a larger Scout will need 3 quarts and an adult as much as 4. If possible, these liquids should be warm to conserve body heat. That's the main argument against eating snow to consume water. Instead, let it melt down in a canteen or water bottle containing warmer water, or melt it in a pan that already contains warm water.

They laughed at me for saving all my Boy's Life magazines, but now who's laughing? Huh? WHO'S LAUGHING NOW?

This is worth a read, if only for one observation.  Wilton leaves is right foot planted when he throws and does not follow through with his hips, like if a pitcher's toe never left the rubber after releasing the ball.  That seems like an easy fix, relatively speaking, within the context of mechanical issues.   Will be interesting to see if his motion continues to develop.

Okay, we need to have an abbreviation like during the Great Coach Search of 2014 when the threads started CC: QBB17, Quarterback battle 2017. Every new thread title on the subject should start QBB17:. Just so we know to come in with fingers over red arrows. Red because it just went through your lungs.

The author presented observations about Speight and Peters, backed up by video examples. Even if one doesn't agree with every observation or conclusion, at least the author presents some justification. Plus, I seldom wander over to places like maizenbrew or TTB, so I appreciated being made aware of the article. Thanks OP.

Doesn't Maize n Brew know the MGoRules that no one is allowed to talk about Wilton Speight unless you are singing his praises on high?  Is there any way that MGoUsers can downvote Maize n Brew?  If there is not a way, one must be invented.

Lord forbid that anyone actually be skeptical or openly critical of Speight, regardless of his play in the spring game. He is clearly the next MGoComing of Tom Brady.

Also note that the spring game is just a glorified practice, unless you are crowning a kicker or Rashan Gary as the next great thing, then it is a live look at real competition.

Great analysis...always felt there was something different with Speight's mechanics now I see better.  Damn near looks like he's throwing darts.

right now, Speight starts against Florida, end of discussion. But if UM loses, that's 4 of the last 6 Speight has lost, Iowa, Florida, Florida St., and tOSU, and then there will be a controversy.

Speight has lost his last 3 starts. He didn't play well in any of those. If Mich loses to Florida and Speight is the primary reason, it would be surprising if Peters didn't begin taking away snaps.
